SharkNinja names Kleona Mack as Chief Marketing Officer for Shark Beauty

Mack is a seasoned marketing executive with over 15 years of experience in the beauty and fashion industries.

USA – SharkNinja, a global product design and technology company, has appointed  Kleona Mack as Chief Marketing Officer of Shark Beauty.

Mack will report directly to Chief Commercial Officer Neil Shah.

In her role, Mack will manage all marketing efforts for Shark’s innovative hair care and skincare tools portfolio.

In addition, she will lead efforts to expand the Shark Beauty brand, work closely with the product design and engineering teams to help shape the product roadmap, and prioritize incorporating consumer insights into all marketing strategies.

Neil Shah, Chief Commercial Officer  of SharkNinja, stated, “Her ability to translate real-time consumer feedback into product innovation and compelling brand moments, paired with her strategic use of social platforms and powerful partnerships, has transformed how beauty brands show up in culture.”

Previously, Mack joined Glossier in 2021, where she played a key role in expanding the brand beyond direct-to-consumer by launching retail partnerships with Sephora and Space NK and leading major product relaunches like Balm Dotcom.

She held several leadership roles at L’Oréal for seven years and most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer at Glossier. 

With over 15 years of experience in the beauty and fashion industries, Mack is a seasoned marketing executive.

Neil added, “She brings a uniquely innovative marketing approach, constantly pushing boundaries, testing new formats, and turning emerging trends into lasting brand impact.”

 The appointment of Mack comes after the company recently named Michelle Crossan-Matos as its Chief Growth Officer (CGO).

According to the company, the newly established executive role is designed to strengthen its consumer-first strategy while supporting the development and execution of SharkNinja’s long-term growth plans.

In her new role, Crossan-Matos will join SharkNinja’s executive leadership team and report directly to the CEO. As Chief Growth Officer, she will focus on expanding the company’s strong consumer-centric approach across all business areas. 

She will also oversee cross-functional planning and execution of SharkNinja’s global organic growth strategy as the company expands into new markets, product categories, and retail channels.

Crossan-Matos brings over 20 years of global leadership experience and most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer at Ulta Beauty, where she led key initiatives across brand strategy, e-commerce, loyalty, and media. 

Before that, she held senior executive roles at Samsung Electronics America, including Chief Marketing, Citizenship & Communications Officer, and also held leadership positions at Procter & Gamble and luxury brand Vertu.
