Clean Cult unveils refillable paper cartons at Target to revolutionize home cleaning

The retailer aims to encourage more circular consumer habits while keeping affordability in mind, through increased availability of low-waste product options.

USA – Clean Cult has rolled out its line of cleaning products in paper-based refill cartons to 1,800 Target stores across the United States.

The launch includes hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, all-purpose cleaner, innovative “first-to-market” aluminium spray bottles, and multi-enzyme cleaning sheets.

The partnership aligns with Target’s broader sustainability strategy, which includes a goal of achieving “zero waste to landfill” across all U.S. stores by 2030.

The retailer aims to encourage more circular consumer habits while keeping affordability in mind, through increased availability of low-waste product options.

Ryan Lupberger, CEO at Clean Cult, stated, “Target is where home care meets lifestyle, and now, it’s where sustainability becomes second nature.”

“This launch is about more than shelf space. It’s about meeting millions of consumers with products that are effective, beautiful, and better for the planet — at a price point that doesn’t ask them to think twice.”

Target has expanded its national product range with 17 Clean Cult items, showcasing the brand’s newly “reimagined” packaging system.

Described as a sleek, shelf-ready solution, the packaging is priced competitively with top natural brands and aims to attract both environmentally conscious shoppers and newcomers to sustainable products.

Clean Cult has unveiled three new signature fragrances—Pink Grapefruit, Water Blossom, and Fresh Rain, as part of its latest product launch.

According to the company, these scents were specifically developed to harmonize with the refreshed packaging design.

Lupberger added, “With strong partners and a differentiated product system, we’re not just building the next generation of cleaning, we’re cleaning up an industry that’s long overdue for a change.”

The brand emphasizes that its redesigned aluminium bottles have undergone rigorous testing to ensure an elegant visual identity, seamlessly aligning scent and aesthetics for a refined in-home experience.

The recent launch of Clean Cult’s products at Target and Costco is backed by Clean Cult’s USD 5 million Series B funding round, led by Sage Hill Investors and Maywic Select Investments.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its retail expansion both in stores and online across the country.

Clean Cult offers a range of eco-friendly cleaning products, including hand soaps, dish soaps, laundry detergents, and multi-surface cleaners, all designed with plant-based ingredients and sustainable packaging.

Their refill system allows customers to reduce plastic waste by using recyclable paper-based cartons and reusable bottles.
