Brenntag expands partnership with ExxonMobil for white oils distribution in EMEA

EMEA – Brenntag has extended its longstanding alliance with ExxonMobil, broadening the distribution of ExxonMobil White Oils across the EMEA region.
This renewed agreement builds on decades of successful collaboration.
It expands the established territory, which previously included Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Baltic states, to now also encompass key markets such as Iberia, the Netherlands, and Israel.
According to Brenntag, ExxonMobil White Oils are manufactured in strict compliance with European Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and undergo meticulous handling within a controlled clean-room environment at Brenntag’s Hamburg facility.
ExxonMobil White Oils serve multiple industries, from pharmaceuticals, where they are used in ointments and laxatives, to beauty & personal care, where they enhance moisturization in creams and baby oils.
In addition, they also play a crucial role in agriculture as a pesticide, animal vaccines as an immune adjuvant, polystyrene for insulation and packaging, and lubricants for food processing machinery, all while meeting stringent global regulations.
These oils are recognized for adhering to several critical regulations, including the Eur. Ph., USP, FDA 21 CFR 178.3620(a), NSF H1, and the European Directive No. 10/2011, underscoring their quality and safety.

In the same move, Brenntag recently strengthened its collaboration with Stephenson Personal Care, a UK-based brand and renowned manufacturer and supplier of diverse soap bases and personal care ingredients.
This partnership aims to enhance market reach and accessibility to sustainable solutions across European countries.
Previously limited to select regions in Canada, Europe and the U.S, the agreement now extends to nearly all European markets, excluding Iberia.
This expansion enhances accessibility to Stephenson’s durosoft polyglyceryl esters, multifunctional emulsifiers, solubilizers, and emollients, which are designed to meet the growing demand for clean, eco-conscious formulations.
