Bhartia will take over the role from Mrinalini Srinivasan, who steps down after a distinguished 17-year tenure with the organization.
INDIA – Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd. has appointed Gaurav Bhartia as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective July 1, 2025.
Bhartia will take over the role from Mrinalini Srinivasan, who steps down after a distinguished 17-year tenure with the organization.
Bhartia brings over a decade of experience from P&G, having joined the company full-time in 2014 after completing an internship.
An alumnus of IIM Bangalore and NIT Trichy, he has held diverse finance roles across India and international markets, most recently serving as the leader of Sales Finance for P&G India.
His track record includes spearheading transformational projects, driving structural profitability, and building cross-functional capabilities that position him well to navigate the evolving dynamics of the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
In a statement, Bhartia expressed gratitude for the opportunity, stating, “What is most exciting for me is the way this role will enable me to have a broader impact and play my part in this endeavour, as well as contribute to the growth of P&G in India.”
“ I look forward to working alongside our incredibly talented and passionate teams to bring our integrated strategy to life and create value for all stakeholders.”
Meanwhile, Procter & Gamble recently announced a leadership transition within its Speciality Beauty Division, appointing John Brownlee as the new Chief Executive Officer.
Brownlee, who currently serves as Senior Vice President of North America Hair Care, will assume his new role effective August 1, 2025, while continuing to oversee P&G’s hair care portfolio.
Brownlee succeeds Colin Walsh, who has led the division since July 2023.
Walsh played a pivotal role in shaping P&G’s Speciality Beauty portfolio, which includes brands such as Ouai, Farmacy, and Tula.
His tenure was marked by strategic acquisitions and the expansion of P&G’s presence in the prestige beauty sector.
Before joining P&G, Walsh held leadership positions at DevaCurl, L’Oréal-owned Matrix, and Redken, and co-founded the gut health startup YayDay.
Brownlee brings over 20 years of experience within P&G, having held leadership roles across oral care, skin care, and professional hair care.
