Kenvue appoints Anindya Dasgupta as Group President

Dasgupta is set to lead the Asia Pacific region.

ASIA – Kenvue has nominated  Anindya Dasgupta as the company’s new Group President, effective July 14, 2025. 

The announcement follows the planned departure of Ellie Bing Xie, who will remain with the company through August 8 to ensure a seamless handover.

According to Kenvue, he will oversee a fully integrated, end-to-end team tasked with advancing the company’s growth agenda across the Asia-Pacific region. 

In addition, his role will focus on leveraging the fast-paced evolution of markets, data, technology, and scientific innovation to enhance consumer experiences and deliver strategic impact.

Thibaut Mongon, Chief Executive Officer at Kenvue, stated, “Andy is a transformational commercial business leader with a strong track record of driving growth and delivering value.”

Dasgupta brings nearly three decades of experience in the global consumer products industry, having held senior roles at GSK, PepsiCo, Fonterra, and Imperial Brands. 

His expertise spans commercial strategy, marketing, sales, and business development across both emerging and developed markets. 

Most recently, he served as Chief Consumer Officer at Imperial Brands and founded Growth Officers Inc., a consultancy focused on scaling private equity portfolio companies.

The Asia Pacific region, which generated approximately USD 3 billion in net sales in fiscal year 2024, is a critical growth engine for Kenvue. 

This follows Kevue’s appointment of Amit Banati as the company’s Chief Financial Officer, effective May 12, 2025.

Banati will lead the company’s Finance and Strategy functions, supporting efforts to drive profitable growth and enhance shareholder value. 

He succeeds Paul Ruh, who will remain in place temporarily to support a seamless transition following a comprehensive search process.

Mr. Banati brings three decades of experience in finance and operations within the consumer products industry, most recently serving as Vice Chairman and CFO of Kellanova. 

His career includes leadership roles at Mondelez International, Cadbury Schweppes, and Procter & Gamble, with extensive international experience across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, India, and Africa.
