IMCD strengthens global leadership with key executive appointments

These leadership changes underscore IMCD’s commitment to aligning its global operations with regional expertise, thereby meeting the evolving needs of its customers and suppliers.

EMEA – IMCD Group has appointed Andreas Igerl as Regional President Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) and Narendra Varde as Regional President Asia-Pacific (APAC).

These appointments become effective on September 1, 2025.

Igerl, currently APAC regional president and a member of IMCD’s executive committee, will also progressively assume leadership of IMCD’s global Industrial Business Groups throughout 2025.

His mandate is to accelerate growth across more than 30 countries in EMEA, enhance regional coordination, and drive the adoption of best practices, digital tools, and commercial and operational excellence programs.

This new structure aims to streamline execution and support IMCD’s expansion in this strategically important region.

Narendra Varde, currently managing director of IMCD India, will succeed Andreas Igerl as APAC regional president.

Varde brings a proven track record of strong strategic leadership and growth delivery in India and is expected to continue driving execution and growth across the diverse and rapidly evolving Asia-Pacific markets.

Marcus Jordan, CEO of IMCD, stated,  “Andreas Igerl and Narendra Varde are pragmatic leaders, with strong execution focus and a collaborative style.”

“Their appointment to these key roles supports our aim to grow with speed, delivering exceptional service to our customers and suppliers, and keep strengthening how we work together across regions and Business Groups.”
