BIC expands personal care offerings in Nigeria with Miss Soleil Shaver

The launch represents a strategic response to growing demand for high-quality, skin-friendly women’s grooming products in the country.

NIGERIA – BIC, a global leader in stationery, lighters, and shavers, has expanded its personal care offerings in Nigeria with the launch of the Miss Soleil shaver, specifically designed to meet the grooming needs of Nigerian women.

The Miss Soleil shaver features triple-blade technology and a pivoting head that contours to the body, delivering a smooth and gentle shave while minimizing irritation and bumps.

It also includes a lubricating strip infused with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E, which hydrates and soothes sensitive skin, making it well-suited for Nigeria’s humid climate.

The shaver’s ergonomic, flower-shaped handle provides a comfortable grip and reduces hand fatigue, enhancing ease of use.

This launch marks BIC’s commitment to inclusivity and innovation by tailoring products to the unique requirements of Nigerian consumers while maintaining affordability.

Anthony Amahwe, General Manager of BIC Nigeria, emphasized Miss Soleil’s support to Nigerian women’s grooming journeys, stating, “As a brand trusted by generations, we are proud to support the grooming journeys of Nigerian women with tools that combine functionality and elegance.”

“Miss Soleil is a testament to our dedication to inclusivity in personal care, offering women a product that’s not only effective but also thoughtfully designed for their unique needs.”

The product is now widely available across retail outlets and supermarkets nationwide, reinforcing BIC’s mission to bring simplicity and joy to daily routines through trusted personal care solutions.

BIC’s personal care offerings centre around grooming essentials, with a strong focus on shaving solutions for both men and women.

Their portfolio includes disposable and refillable razors, multi-blade systems, and scented options tailored to skin sensitivity and comfort, alongside shave creams designed for a smoother experience.

The launch comes at a time when Nigeria’s women’s grooming market is undergoing rapid transformation, fueled by rising demand for skincare and haircare products.

According to a report published by 6Wresearch, the women’s grooming market in Nigeria is expected to grow steadily through 2030, led by rising demand in skincare, haircare, and fragrance segments.

In 2025, the overall Beauty & Personal Care market is projected to reach USD 10.17 billion, with Personal Care alone contributing USD 4.82 billion.
