DermRays unveils first diode laser device for men

This update was inspired by customer feedback as DermRays continues to focus on enhancing user experience.

USA – DermRays, an American beauty technology brand specializing in at-home laser hair removal devices, has launched an upgraded version of its Revive at-home laser hair removal system, along with the launch of the V10S, the first 810nm diode laser device specifically created for men’s hair patterns.

The latest Revive redesign replaces the previous four-contact-point applicator with a two-contact-point head, delivering faster and more comfortable treatments, especially in smaller or more sensitive areas like the forehead.

The company highlighted a broader industry shift from IPL devices to clinically validated diode lasers, which are recognized for providing safer and longer-lasting results.

According to DermRays, their devices are FDA-cleared and designed to accommodate all skin types and genders, reinforcing their commitment to inclusivity.

The newly introduced V10S addresses a distinct market need by targeting coarse male hair with a medical-grade 810nm wavelength.

It supports both complete hair removal and precision grooming tasks, such as beard shaping.

Mark T., the lead developer, emphasized that men require robust, high-performance tools to manage their hair density and that diode laser technology outperforms IPL in achieving permanent hair reduction.

Through these innovations, the unisex Revive system upgrades and the male-specific V10S device, DermRays aim to democratize professional-grade hair removal technology, delivering salon-quality results conveniently at home for a diverse range of users.

This represents a significant advancement in personalized at-home grooming technology, especially for men who have had limited options tailored to their hair type and grooming needs.

The launch comes at a time when the global market for men’s grooming devices and products is experiencing robust growth, driven by shifting cultural norms and increased self-care awareness.

According to Grand View Research, the men’s grooming products market was valued at USD 202.6 billion in 2022 and is projected to reach USD 376.4 billion by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 8.0%.

DermRays offers a range of advanced at-home beauty and skincare devices, with a strong focus on laser technology and anti-ageing solutions.

Their product lineup includes laser hair removal devices, skincare and anti-ageing devices, as well as accessories like soothing aloe gel and replacement power adapters.
