Fraganote raises USD 1M to strengthen operation

The funding will help enhance its supply chain and fulfilment capabilities to ensure efficient pan-India distribution.

INDIA – Indian luxury fragrance brand Fraganote has secured USD 1 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Rukam Capital, marking a significant leap in its journey to become India’s first globally recognized luxury perfume house.

This capital support will enable Fraganote to expand its in-house fragrance portfolio, introduce new scent-forward product formats, and launch offline retail pilots that provide immersive brand experiences.

In addition, the funding will help strengthen its supply chain and fulfilment capabilities to ensure efficient pan-India distribution.

The company plans to invest heavily in omnichannel marketing, including digital engagement, pop-up activations, strategic retail partnerships, and community-building efforts.

Garima Kakkar, Co-Founder of Fraganote, said, “We are building a luxury fragrance brand that is born in India but belongs everywhere.”

“We believe India needs its own iconic perfume house, one that is modern, accessible, and built for a new generation of consumers who view brands as communities.”

The brand aims to blend the best of digital and offline worlds to deepen consumer engagement and loyalty.

The Indian perfume market is expanding rapidly, driven by rising disposable incomes, evolving lifestyle preferences, and growing awareness around personal grooming.

According to a report by IMARC Group, the market was valued at USD 1.18 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach USD 1.96 billion by 2033, growing at a CAGR of 5.58%.

With this funding, Fraganote is well-positioned to lead the evolution of Indian perfumery by creating a proud, modern luxury brand that resonates with the new generation—crafted in India but designed to belong everywhere.

Founded by Garima Kakkar and Arjun Anand, Fraganote has carved a niche with its artisanal perfumes that blend contemporary Indian culture with high-quality, skin-friendly formulations designed for a modern, style-conscious audience.

Fraganote offers a wide range of bold, gourmand, and fruity perfumes for men and women.

Their products are typically sold in 50ml glass bottles.

Fraganote’s signature perfumes, such as Baked Vanilla, Drunken Cake, and Beach Holiday, offer consumers a luxurious and original fragrance experience rooted in Indian lifestyles.
