Oh, Oh Organic partners with Evolved By Nature for exclusive bioactive peptide supply

Through this exclusive distribution deal, Oh, Oh Organic is set to accelerate the adoption of these innovative, sustainable peptides within the personal care market.

USA – Oh, Oh Organic Inc., an American organic ingredients distributor, has announced an exclusive partnership with Evolved By Nature, a Boston-based life science company specializing in naturally derived bioactive peptides for the personal care industry.

This collaboration allows Oh, Oh Organic to be the exclusive distributor of Evolved By Nature’s Activated Silk™ bioactive peptides, designed particularly for brands that emphasize sustainability alongside high-performance formulations.

The partnership marks a significant step toward delivering innovative skincare ingredients that combine natural origins with cutting-edge biotechnology.

Evolved By Nature’s CEO, Greg Altman, emphasized the importance of this collaboration, stating, “We’re thrilled to partner with Oh, Oh Organic to bring Activated Silk bioactive peptides to more brands focused on sustainability and performance.”

“Our collaboration helps accelerate the shift away from fossil fuel-derived ingredients and away from what we would consider ‘first-gen ingredients’ – chemicals like retinols that have some benefits but haven’t been able to evolve past their downsides.”

Evolved By Nature’s Activated Silk™ peptides are upcycled, cruelty-free, and produced using renewable resources and energy, making them a sustainable alternative to conventional synthetic or fossil fuel-based ingredients commonly used in skincare, such as retinols.

These peptides are clinically proven to enhance skin health by boosting the skin barrier, promoting collagen production, reducing hyperpigmentation, and supporting skin and hair repair.

Oh, Oh Organic currently offers a selection of these peptides, including those focused on skin barrier support, collagen stimulation, skin brightening, and repair, as well as advanced hydrogels that hydrate skin and repair hair while serving as effective emulsifiers.

These ingredients carry certifications such as the NATRUE seal, signifying their natural, upcycled, and cruelty-free status, and also align with multiple United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, underscoring the companies’ shared commitment to sustainability and circular economy principles.

The partnership reflects a broader industry movement toward replacing legacy chemicals with more effective and environmentally friendly alternatives, ultimately helping brands meet consumer expectations for product efficacy without compromising sustainability.

This move comes at a time when the global bioactive peptide market is gaining momentum across food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic sectors, driven by rising consumer demand for natural, functional ingredients.

According to a report by Future Market Insights,  the market is valued at USD 2.76 billion in 2025, and is projected to reach USD 4.62 billion by 2035, growing at a CAGR of 5.3%.
