CIDPEX Middle East 2025 to showcase hygiene and paper innovations in Dubai

This expo serves as an essential platform for companies to establish their global presence, promote their brands, and showcase their capabilities.

UAE – The Middle East’s rapidly expanding tissue and hygiene sector is set for a significant boost as the inaugural CIDPEX Middle East 2025 makes its debut from September 2–4, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Jointly organized by the China National Pulp and Paper Research Institute (CNPPRI) and Al Fajer Information & Services, the event is co-located with Paper Arabia 2025 and promises to be a pivotal platform for global collaboration in disposable paper and hygiene industries.

The exhibition will span the whole supply chain, showcasing tissue paper, baby and adult diapers, sanitary napkins, wet wipes, raw materials such as pulp and nonwovens, advanced manufacturing machinery, and innovative healthcare products.

Over 120 exhibitors from more than 28 countries are expected to participate, building on the momentum of Paper Arabia 2024.

Confirmed participants include Starland (Shanghai) with advanced hygiene solutions and Yangyang Health Technology with specialized consumer products.

Sustainability will be a core theme, with a spotlight on eco-friendly packaging, energy-efficient production technologies, and recycling solutions.

These innovations come as the Middle East intensifies efforts to reduce carbon footprints and align industrial growth with global climate goals.

A key highlight is the FIBRE Dubai Forum, which will run in conjunction with the exhibition.

The conference will feature expert-led sessions on market expansion, consumer trends, policy shifts, and technology advancements in paper, tissue, absorbent hygiene products (AHP), wipes, and nonwovens.

Speakers include Zhenlei Cao, Chairman of CNPPRI, and Ranjitha Subash of Kantar Middle East, who will shed light on shifting consumer demands driven by the region’s youthful demographic and expanding middle class.

Networking will be central to the event, with dedicated B2B meeting spaces connecting exhibitors to buyers across China, India, Africa, West Asia, Central Asia, and Europe.

The timing is strategic. The Middle East and Africa (MEA) pulp and paper market, valued at USD 22.8 billion in 2023, is projected to grow at a 5% CAGR through 2031, driven by urbanization, tourism, hygiene awareness, and rising demand for disposable products.

Dubai’s role as a global trade hub further amplifies opportunities, allowing Chinese manufacturers and international suppliers to tap into Gulf markets while forging partnerships with local distributors, government bodies, and regional e-commerce platforms.

With 80% of exhibition booths already booked and over 7,500 visitors expected, organizers say the event will underscore the MEA region’s growing importance in global supply chains.

“CIDPEX Middle East will spotlight innovations that align with the region’s evolving needs,” a CNPPRI representative said.

“For industry professionals, it’s an unmissable opportunity to explore growth avenues and forge lasting partnerships.”
