Zanskar secures USD 317,000  funding to boost product offerings

Zanskar is leveraging its financing to accelerate expansion in the pain-care and wellness sector.

INDIA – Zanskar, a Gurugram-based pain-care and wellness brand founded by IIT Delhi classmates Anshul and Manu Mittal, has secured ₹2.8 crore (USD 317,000) in seed funding to expand its pain-care and wellness product offerings.

The funding round was led by Zeropearl VC, with participation from angel investors including Pawan Gupta (Fashinza), Amit Baid (10X Growth Ventures), and Nidhish Mundra (Oaktree Capital).

The startup plans to utilise the capital to expand its product portfolio, invest in research and development (R&D), and scale its digital marketing efforts.

It also aims to grow its offline retail presence alongside continued growth in the direct-to-consumer (D2C) segment.

Current notable products include a joint pain cream containing Vitamin B6 and a migraine relief roll-on with magnesium.

The company is also developing new solutions for arthritis and muscle recovery.

In addition, Zanskar is working on expanding its AI-driven physiotherapy app and piloting wellness centres in metropolitan cities.

Zanskar’s products are available on online platforms such as Blinkit, Tata 1mg, Amazon, Flipkart, and on its own website.

The brand has served over 50,000 customers across India.

It is tapping into the country’s rapidly growing pain-care and wellness market, valued at ₹16,000 crore (USD 1.82 billion) in 2025 and projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 18%, which is nearly three times faster than the overall over-the-counter (OTC) market.

The seed funding is seen as a significant validation of Zanskar’s approach to combining science and empathy in addressing pain relief, aiming to provide products that are clinically backed, safe for long-term use, and effective.

The managing partner of Zeropearl VC emphasized the unique position of Zanskar in building a trusted and scalable brand that addresses millions of people dealing with pain in India and beyond.

Zanskar is leveraging its funding to accelerate expansion in the pain-care and wellness sector through innovative product development, enhanced marketing, and broader distribution channels, aiming to build a comprehensive pain relief ecosystem that incorporates both products and technology-driven solutions.
