USA – Scott Rodrigue, Procter & Gamble’s Chief R&D and Innovation Officer for Fabric & Home Care and Flavors & Fragrances, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Fragrance Creators Association (FCA), succeeding Joanna Clarke.
Rodrigue brings over 35 years of leadership experience in consumer goods innovation, having directed P&G’s global innovation efforts for its renowned USD 28 billion Fabric & Home Care division, which includes brands like Tide, Ariel, Downy, Gain, and Febreze.
He also leads P&G’s enterprise-wide R&D and innovation for Flavors & Fragrances, the world’s largest consumer of fragrance ingredients.
His appointment comes at a critical moment for the fragrance industry, which is benefiting from growth driven by consumer demand for innovative sensory experiences and natural ingredients.
Rodrigue’s expertise will be instrumental in advancing the FCA’s mission to promote pro-innovation policies grounded in ethics and designed to benefit consumers, the fragrance industry, and the environment.
Scott Rodrigue expressed honor in joining the FCA Board, emphasizing the association’s commitment to values-driven leadership and positive consumer impact through innovation and ethical business practices.
Farah K. Ahmed, FCA’s President and CEO, welcomed Rodrigue’s addition, highlighting his deep expertise in innovation as a vital asset that will help accelerate evidence-based policies benefiting people, the planet, and the perfume industry.
The Fragrance Creators Association represents the fragrance manufacturing sector in North America and advocates across the value chain.
Its members include large to small companies engaged in creating, producing, and using fragrances in personal care, home care, delicate scent, and industrial products, as well as suppliers of fragrance ingredients.
Rodrigue’s global leadership experience spans the U.S., Belgium, China, and the U.K., and his role at FCA is expected to strengthen the association’s strategic focus on market segmentation, geographical trends, and competitive developments, particularly in sustainability and innovation in the fragrance sector.
Meanwhile, Vigon International recently joined the Fragrance Creators Association, reinforcing its commitment to industry collaboration and standards.
This membership aligns Vigon with a leading coalition of fragrance manufacturers dedicated to promoting innovation, sustainability, and regulatory compliance in fragrance development.
The move positions Vigon to participate actively in shaping best practices and addressing evolving regulatory landscapes, while also enhancing its access to industry resources and networks.
