H&M expands into India’s beauty market with new makeup and fragrance line

All products are vegan and cruelty-free, showcasing H&M’s commitment to inclusivity and quality in beauty.

INDIA – H&M, a Swedish multinational fast fashion retailer, is set to unveil its beauty and fragrance collection in India on October 2, 2025, marking a milestone as it celebrates 10 years in the country. 

The brand is emphasizing the local aspect by offering a curated range of locally produced makeup and fragrances tailored for the Indian market, alongside globally sourced beauty tools. 

The collection comprises over 200 products, featuring notable makeup items such as the Satin Icon Lipstick, Mad for Matte Liquid Lipstick, Never-Ending Lash Mascara, and the versatile Do-It-All Stick Blush. 

The fragrance lineup introduces an Eau de Parfum collection with vegan formulas, designed to provide richer and more intense scent experiences. 

H&M has launched beauty lines in various international markets before entering the Indian market. While the specific countries are not listed in the sourced articles, the India launch marks the first for H&M Beauty’s concept in this region, expanding beyond H&M’s existing fashion and home categories.

The H&M Beauty collection for India will be available in all H&M stores across India and online at hm.com, making it easily accessible for consumers shopping in-store or digitally.

Meanwhile, H&M Beauty recently unveiled a limited-edition summer fragrance collection that embraces the growing trend of gourmand-inspired scents. 

This collection features three captivating fragrances: Sun-Kissed Caramel, Posh Pistachio, and Wild Strawberry, each designed to evoke the warmth and indulgence of summer. 

According to the company, this collection is designed to complement summer moments.

The collection features a range of products, including eaux de toilette (EDT), body perfume mists, hand creams, glow body oils, and body mists, all designed for layering to enhance the fragrance experience. 

Each fragrance offers a unique profile, with Sun-Kissed Caramel combining notes of whipped cream, salted caramel, and buttery vanilla for a sweet and comforting aroma. 

Posh Pistachio blends pistachio, almond, and sandalwood for a nutty yet elegant scent, while Wild Strawberry delivers a playful and fruity fragrance with hints of strawberry and violet.

This limited collection follows the company’s recent introduction of its spring/summer bronze and glow collection, showcasing H&M Beauty’s commitment to seasonal offerings.

The collection offers a range of bronzing essentials, including powders, creams, liquids, and body illuminizers, designed to create radiant, sun-kissed looks for the warmer months.
