Revlon teams up with Champion to launch global fragrance line

USA – Revlon Consumer Products LLC has announced a new global fragrance licensing agreement with Authentic Brands Group (ABG) to launch Champion’s first-ever signature fragrance collection in 2027.

This marks the sportswear brand’s debut in the fragrance market and is a significant step in both brands’ evolutions.

The upcoming Champion fragrance range will include distinct scents for men and women that reflect the brand’s heritage, modern aesthetic, and bold, confident, unapologetically original ethos.

Michelle Peluso, CEO of Revlon, said, “Champion’s strong heritage and cultural relevance make it a powerful partner for Revlon.”

“We are excited to welcome Champion into our portfolio of brands at this crucial time for both Champion and Revlon.”

Peluso added, “As we focus on appealing to the next generation, we’re thrilled to bring Champion’s energy into the world of fragrance, another step forward in Revlon’s resurgence.”

Champion, initially founded in 1919 and acquired by Authentic Brands Group last year for USD 1.2 billion, is leveraging this collaboration as part of its broader push into lifestyle categories beyond sportswear.

Jarrod Weber, Global President of Sports & Lifestyle at Authentic Brands Group, described the partnership with Revlon as a natural extension of Champion’s expansion into fashion and lifestyle categories, with fragrance seen as the next frontier.

Revlon’s move reflects an ongoing effort to reinvigorate its fragrance division, which also includes licenses for other ABG brands such as Juicy Couture, as well as new celebrity partnerships, exemplified by a recent deal with rapper Ice Spice.

The agreement with Champion fits within Revlon’s broader strategy to create culturally resonant fragrances that connect deeply with today’s consumers and secure a foothold in the lifestyle fragrance market.

In addition, further details on the scents and marketing planned for release in the coming months will be provided.

This deal greatly expands Revlon’s fragrance portfolio and underscores the company’s forward-looking approach to appealing to diverse consumer segments through iconic and culturally significant brands.

Meanwhile, Revlon recently entered into a long-term agreement with Palm Angels, a luxury streetwear brand, to broaden its product offerings and reach a wider global audience.

This collaboration marks Palm Angels’ first venture into the fragrance market, with plans to develop exclusive scent collections for both men and women, alongside scented ancillary products.

The Palm Angels fragrance line is expected to launch in 2027, targeting luxury consumers who resonate with the brand’s streetwear-meets-high-fashion identity.

The collection will likely feature bold, unconventional scents that reflect Palm Angels’ rebellious and artistic DNA.
