This fundraising serves as a strategic consolidation move as the brand prepares for a potential initial public offering (IPO) in the near term.
Nikhil Vora, CEO, Sixth Sense Ventures said, “Backing Shantanu and the Bombay Shaving Company team again feels like coming full circle for us at Sixth Sense.¨
¨From day one, we’ve believed in founders who challenge convention, and Bombay Shaving Company has done exactly that – we believe the brand is now ready to define the next chapter in India’s consumer story.”
The company, headquartered in Gurugram, has recorded an impressive net revenue run rate of over INR 550 crore(USD 65.99 million) and achieved profit after tax (PAT) profitability, doubling its financial performance compared to fiscal year 2025.
Founded in 2016, Bombay Shaving Company has evolved from a single-category startup into a diversified personal care brand offering grooming solutions for both men and women, including its women’s brand “Bombae.”
