Iron Mist positions itself as a time-saving alternative to traditional ironing.
EGYPT – Iron Mist, a wrinkle-release spray founded by Egyptian marketing professional Shady Mabrouk, has seen explosive growth after securing investment on Shark Tank Egypt and forming a partnership with Amazon.eg .
Mabrouk aimed to leverage his marketing expertise to address a common household challenge, focusing on practical solutions that resonate with everyday Egyptian consumers.
The product’s success caught the attention of Abdallah Sallam, President and CEO of Madinet Masr, who invested in Iron Mist after it appeared on Shark Tank Egypt, citing Mabrouk’s clear vision and marketing acumen as key factors.
Following its Shark Tank debut, Iron Mist joined Amazon.eg in October 2025, significantly expanding its reach and credibility.
Mabrouk credits the platform’s visibility, nationwide customer access, and strong fulfillment infrastructure for the rapid sales increase.
Amazon.eg’s seller tools, including Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), data-driven insights, and educational resources, have enabled Iron Mist to scale efficiently and maintain reliable delivery and customer service.
Omar Elsahy, Amazon Egypt General Manager, praised Iron Mist as a symbol of Egyptian entrepreneurship, highlighting the collaboration between Shark Tank Egypt and Amazon.eg in empowering local founders.
Iron Mist is part of a growing cohort of Shark Tank Egypt alumni thriving on Amazon.eg, including brands like Curlit (science-backed haircare), Pavo, Ashry Naturals, Carpetivity, Asfoura, and Life Snacks.
These partnerships have enabled Egyptian entrepreneurs to scale domestically and internationally, leveraging Amazon’s global reach to bring authentic, locally developed products to wider audiences.
According to the brand, the White Friday Sale on Amazon.eg further boosts exposure, offering exclusive deals and fast delivery for Prime members.
Iron Mist offers wrinkle-release sprays designed to smooth clothes without ironing, available in single bottles and bundled packs.
Their product range includes a single wrinkle-release spray, discounted two- and three-bottle bundles, and a four-pack saver option for bulk buyers.
The ales performance reflects Egypt’s e-retail (e-commerce) market, which is valued at about USD 10.24 billion in 2025, with strong growth projected to reach nearly USD 19.3 billion by 2030.
This shows annual growth rates of 8–14%, driven by digital adoption, mobile penetration, and evolving consumer behavior
