Softcare receives three major awards at 2025 Consumer Choice Awards Africa

Softcare’s sweep underscores its status as a leading hygiene brand in Africa, recognized for its innovation, quality, and positive community impact.

TANZANIA – Softcare, under Doweicare Technology Company Limited, dominated the 2025 Consumer Choice Awards Africa, winning three major accolades: ‘Best Brand Africa (Baby Diaper) 2025’, ‘Most Trusted Sanitary Pad Brand in Tanzania’, and ‘Most Quality Baby Diaper Brand in Tanzania 2025’.

The awards, which are Africa’s most influential consumer-voted honors, recognized Softcare’s excellence in product quality, innovation, and consumer trust, outshining over 500 participating brands from across the continent.

Softcare’s success reflects its deliberate investments in modern production technology, rigorous research, and a robust quality assurance system, enabling it to deliver internationally standardized hygiene products such as baby diapers and sanitary pads.

The company’s products are manufactured locally in Tanzania, supporting the national industrialization agenda and contributing significantly to job creation and economic growth, with about 1,000 Tanzanians directly employed by the company.

Doweicare’s market dominance is anchored in continuous innovation and reliable product availability.

The company recently launched Cuettie Baby Diapers, which feature advanced technology for fast absorption, breathability, and safety, and Softcare Sanitary Pads (Green Pads), designed for comfort and hygiene with a refreshing Tea Essence scent and wider size to meet consumer demand.

These products have been well-received for their quality and reliability, further cementing Softcare’s reputation among African consumers.

Softcare taps into Africa’s fast-growing personal care market by positioning itself at the intersection of affordability, accessibility, and rising consumer awareness.

According to Statista the baby care products are valued at about USD 767 million in Africa in 2025, growing at a 7.48% CAGR through 2030, while the feminine care products are a much larger market at USD 3.42 billion in 2025, expanding at a 3.47% CAGR.

Beyond commercial success, Doweicare actively engages in community support through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, including donations of baby diapers to hospitals and councils in Dodoma, benefiting thousands of families and newborns.

The company plans to expand production capacity, introduce more eco-friendly and health-safe products, strengthen distribution networks, and advance research to maintain its leadership in Africa.

At the awards summit, Doweicare management expressed gratitude to Tanzanian and African consumers for their trust and support, emphasizing that the brand’s achievements are a collective victory.

The company remains committed to local production, job creation, and ensuring that high-quality, affordable hygiene products remain accessible to families across Tanzania and the continent.
