The collection highlights the company’s natural expertise and pioneering science.

FRANCE – LMR Naturals by IFF, a global leader in natural ingredients for perfumery, cosmetics and flavours, will showcase its latest innovations at the International Exhibition of Raw Materials for Perfumery (SIMPPAR) on May 26–27 in Grasse.
Bertrand de Préville, general manager of LMR, said responsible innovation has always been central to LMR, noting the company’s ability to master a broad range of natural technologies to support perfumers’ creativity and to connect nature, science and creation to drive sustainable growth and deliver value at scale.
The four new LMR Hearts, including Lavandin Heart France with a pronounced coumarin profile for a gourmand nuance; Armoise Heart Morocco, richer in thujones for a fresher, more diffusive effect; Ylang Heart Madagascar, an “extra grade” with creamy, solar facets; and Geranium Heart Egypt, offering a fruity‑lychee profile without conventional minty notes.
They were developed through long‑term sourcing partnerships, sustainable agricultural practices and precision molecular distillation and fractionation at LMR’s Grasse site.
Bernard Blerot, VP R&D Naturals at IFF, said these Hearts demonstrate how science and sourcing expertise can elevate natural ingredients by providing greater purity and focus while maintaining the integrity of the raw material.
The launches follow other naturals introduced earlier this year, including Tonka Bean CO₂ Absolute produced via renewable supercritical CO₂ extraction in France; Osmanthus Absolute Fruity China, a fruit‑forward captive natural; and Pulpextract™ Passion Fruit and Raspberry, vivid fruit ingredients exclusive to IFF perfumers, responding to sustained consumer interest in fruity and gourmand fragrance notes.
These initiatives build on IFF’s 25‑year investment in LMR and its integrated naturals platform, combining long‑term sourcing partnerships, agronomy‑led sustainability programs and in‑house extraction technologies such as molecular distillation, fractionation and CO₂ extraction.
This will be complemented in late May by the inauguration of the Domaine des Naturals LMR in Grasse, a dedicated experimental field that underscores the company’s long‑term commitment to the future of naturals and innovation.
