Dudi Baby is part of a broader strategy to build an ecosystem that integrates consumer products, storytelling, brand identity and economic opportunity..

NIGERIA – L’Avyanna Beauty Group, a Nigerian skincare company, has entered the baby-care market by unveiling its new Dudi Baby skincare range, a line developed for infants and designed to meet the safety and quality expectations of parents and caregivers.
The collection is positioned around three core attributes, “Pure. Gentle. Proven.”, signalling a focus on minimal, safe formulations backed by testing.
The range includes products such as lotion, body wash, shampoo, nourishing oil, Ude Aki and body butter.
The brand was officially launched on a date chosen to coincide with the first birthday of Dudi, the daughter of L’Avyanna founder Dr May Amamgbo, whose arrival inspired the venture.
Before this expansion, L’Avyanna Beauty built its reputation in facial and body skincare for adults, offering products such as facial cleansers, vitamin C creams and serums, facial masks, anti-acne treatments, body lotions, body oils, and sun-protection solutions.
The Dudi Baby launch marks the company’s first move into a new consumer segment where ingredient safety, formulation rigour and trust are central to purchasing decisions.
Dr Amamgbo described the initiative as originating from a personal need that quickly revealed broader commercial potential.
She emphasized that creating baby-care products demands heightened diligence because parents are entrusting brands with their children’s wellbeing.
“When you are creating products for babies, you have to be even more deliberate. Parents are putting their trust in you, so we have to pay close attention to the ingredients, the formulations and the experience we create around the products,” she said at the launch.
According to the brand, every formula in the Dudi Baby range is dermatologically tested, free from harsh chemicals, and developed to protect the delicate skin of babies and young children.
Dudi Baby expands L’Avyanna Beauty Group’s existing portfolio, which now includes four distinct brands: L’Avyanna SKIN, Glow CODE, Skinvibes and Dudi Baby.
Alongside the skincare range, L’Avyanna introduced Dudi World, a children-focused storytelling platform featuring characters such as Dudi, Chika, Kofi, Nia and Puffy Cloud. The platform is planned to deliver short-form animation and digital storytelling content intended to engage children while deepening the brand’s relationship with families.
The baby-care expansion aligns with L’Avyanna’s wider industry activities, including its Beautypreneur Initiative, which supports women’s entrepreneurship and business development in the beauty sector.
