Nuxe appoints Christine Delfaut-Sara as Chief Executive Officer

She succeeds Muriel Koch, who led the company for eight years.

FRANCE – Nuxe, the French natural cosmetics group known for its strength in pharmacy channels, has announced the appointment of Christine Delfaut-Sara as CEO, effective October 1.

She succeeds Muriel Koch, who led the company for eight years.

Delfaut-Sara, a senior Nuxe executive since 2019, will lead the brand into a new growth phase, building on the international expansion and transformation momentum established under Koch.

“It is with gratitude and enthusiasm that I am taking on the role of CEO of our group. I know I can rely on its outstanding, passionate staff to continue pursuing our plans with the pioneering spirit that is our strength,” Delfaut-Sara said.

Delfaut-Sara brings more than 30 years of experience in the cosmetics industry and international brand development.

A business economics graduate of France’s Kedge Business School and Germany’s University of Münster, she spent 17 years with the Beiersdorf group (parent of Nivea) in Germany before joining Yves Rocher as chief marketing officer.

She moved to Nuxe in 2019 as deputy CEO in charge of the brand and, over the last seven years, has spearheaded Nuxe’s business strategy, gaining deep knowledge of the group that will be central to her new role.

Aliza Jabès, Nuxe’s founder and president, noted that since joining as deputy CEO, Delfaut-Sara has played a key role in strengthening Nuxe’s presence in France and internationally, and that her strategic vision and transformation capabilities will be invaluable as the company accelerates development.

Koch’s departure concludes an eight-year period during which Nuxe underwent a major overhaul and recorded significant growth, particularly in international markets.

Founded by Aliza Jabès more than 35 years ago, Nuxe has established itself as one of France’s leading beauty players in the pharmacy channel, with its laboratory focused on blending effective natural ingredients with a sensorial experience.

The group employs over 800 people worldwide, reportedly generates nearly €300 million (USD 344 million) in revenue, and is distributed through more than 30,000 retail outlets across over 60 countries.

Nuxe offers a wide portfolio across skincare, body care, haircare, sun protection, and fragrance, with its pharmacy-channel strength anchored by iconic products like Huile Prodigieuse® and Rêve de Miel.

Their ranges combine botanical oils, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and antioxidant-rich formulations, appealing to consumers seeking natural yet clinically effective beauty solutions.
