UAE – Nobel Hygiene, a leading Indian hygiene products manufacturer, has launched its innovative Teddyy Bio-Earth diaper in Dubai through Amazon, marking a key entry into the UAE market with a focus on sustainability.
This “green” diaper features biodegradable non-woven technology, positioning it as the world’s first of its kind.
Developed in partnership with Avgol (an Indorama Ventures company) and utilizing Polymateria’s Biotransformation technology for non-woven components, it targets eco-conscious parents.
Under the Teddyy Bio-Earth brand, 75% of the diaper’s components by weight are fully biodegradable, including an absorbent core from cellulose and non-wovens that break down within two years in open environments.
It maintains high performance without compromising feel or absorbency.
According to the company, the availability begins in early March 2026 via Blue Ocean Global Group, an exclusive e-commerce partner, on Amazon Dubai’s platform.
This move taps into the growing UAE diaper market, projected to reach USD 785.7 million by 2033.
Avgol CEO Sivan Yedidsion stated, “We are delighted to have achieved this important milestone with the first commercial application of our biodegradable nonwoven material in the Teddyy Bio Earth diaper made by Nobel Hygiene.”
“This launch marks an exciting next step in our three-way partnership with Nobel and Polymateria.¨
¨ We anticipate Teddyy Bio-Earth biodegradable diapers being widely embraced by consumers across a wide range of geographical markets, driving meaningful progress towards more responsible and sustainable hygiene solutions.”
This move taps into the growing UAE diaper market, projected to reach nearly USD 145 million by 2031, as rising birth rates, urban lifestyles, and higher disposable incomes continue to fuel demand, according to a report by Mordor Intelligence.
Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Mumbai, Nobel Hygiene offers a wide range of disposable hygiene products across different segments.
Its flagship Friends brand leads the adult diaper category, while Teddyy provides baby diapers and wipes.
In women’s hygiene, the company markets RIO sanitary napkins, designed for heavy-duty protection and comfort.
It recently secured funding for global expansion, with exports to the UAE and manufacturing in Nashik and Halol facilities.
