Rollout began gradually in early 2026 from Ontex’s base in Aalst, Belgium.

BELGIUM – Ontex has launched its innovative “Sensitive” adult incontinence range, targeting healthcare institutions across European markets to address key challenges in patient care.
This new line prioritizes skin health and superior absorption, responding to widespread needs amid ageing populations.
The Sensitive range includes Sensitive Pants, Sensitive Slip, and Sensitive Form, each designed with dermatological care in mind.
Key innovations feature a topsheet enriched with botanical ingredients to prevent irritation, Y-core technology for instant dryness, absorption up to 2.5 times faster than prior models, hypoallergenic materials, and odour control for confidence.
These elements tackle incontinence-associated dermatitis, a common issue affecting comfort.
Ontex developed the range based on a European study involving over 2,500 people with incontinence, revealing frequent skin irritation in intimate areas that impacts well-being.
The products combine proven protection with gentle formulations, making them reliable for caregivers in institutional settings.
Incontinence affects an estimated 421 million globally, with Europe facing rising demand due to demographics; this launch extends Ontex’s iD brand success from retail to healthcare channels like institutions and pharmacies.
Tatiana Bumachar Carvalho Pastori, Sr Marketing Manager Adult Care, concludes: “The Sensitive range was developed to help people with incontinence to live their everyday life more comfortably.¨
¨At the same time, it offers professional caregivers a product they can rely on, making it easier for them to deliver the best possible care, supported by our training opportunities.”
Ontex’s journey in incontinence care spans decades, building on milestones like the iD Expert range in the 2010s, which revolutionized retail absorbent hygiene with superior leak-proof designs and captured significant market share in supermarkets.
By 2020, the company expanded into healthcare via tailored institutional products, achieving EUR 1.2 billion in annual revenue and a strong ONTEX listing.
Innovations such as breathable fabrics and pH-balanced materials in prior launches reduced IAD incidents by 30% in clinical trials.
The 2025 discreet iD range further solidified Ontex’s retail dominance, blending style with functionality for light incontinence.
Meanwhile, earlier this year, Ontex unveiled a high-performance multi-liquid liner in Europe, addressing women’s diverse intimate protection needs across life stages with a single, discreet solution.
