White Diamonds Icon Eau de Parfum is already available on Amazon, with a Hair and Body Mist due there at the end of August.

USA – Revlon has introduced White Diamonds Icon from Elizabeth Taylor, a modern reworking of the classic scent aimed at a rapidly changing fragrance market increasingly shaped by Gen Z.
According to Revlon, the new release is “not a reinvention of a classic, but a conversation with it,” stressing that the fragrance was updated thoughtfully to feel contemporary while retaining its heritage and Taylor’s influence.
The original White Diamonds, created with 1950s Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor, helped spark the era of celebrity perfumes; the relaunch coincides with the 35th anniversary of that original.
Amber Garrison, president of Elizabeth Arden and Fragrances at Revlon, notes that few perfume brands endure amid constant novelty, and White Diamonds remains iconic because it instantly evokes glamour, confidence and Taylor’s cultural legacy.
As custodians of that vision, she says, Revlon’s responsibility is to preserve the legacy while evolving it for today’s consumers.
The reformulated scent uses ingredients from IFF’s LMR Naturals, Green Mandarin LMR, Orange Flower LMR, Oakmoss LMR, and Cristalfizz by IFF.
Senior perfumer Natasha Côté‑Mouzannar says the team kept Cristalfizz for the fragrance’s sparkle but added pink pepper for energy and edge.
The relaunch aims to engage a new generation while maintaining Taylor’s fragrance legacy; a portion of proceeds from every House of Taylor product continues to support The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, which funds care and support for people living with HIV and AIDS.
The launch arrives amid a broader fragrance boom driven in part by Gen Z, who use scent as a form of self‑expression and are reshaping brand positioning and product development.
Recent moves targeting younger consumers include NYX Professional Makeup’s TikTok‑friendly hair and body mists, Diesel’s Only Desire with Gen Z ambassador Dove Cameron, and Así Fragrances’ large collection designed to encourage scent layering rather than a single signature fragrance.
The category’s momentum shows up across the industry: Bath & Body Works has opened in Brazil as part of its international expansion, Olaplex has released a limited‑edition Signature Hair and Body mist, and brands such as Huda Beauty and PlusOne have launched perfumes that tap trends like neurocosmetics.
Fragrance has also become a notable growth driver in corporate results, with L’Oréal reporting that the category significantly contributed to its Q1 2026 top‑line growth.
