Estée Lauder appoints key executives in strategic leadership transition

The announcement comes as the company recently reported fiscal 2026 results showing 3% organic sales growth and operating margin expansion.

USA – The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. has announced a series of senior brand leadership appointments as it prepares for the planned retirement of Sandra Main, the Global Brand President for La Mer and Skin Care Brands.

Justin Boxford has been elevated to the newly created role of Global President, Luxury Beauty Brands, expanding his oversight to include La Mer alongside Estée Lauder, AERIN, Darphin Paris and Lab Series.

Boxford previously led La Mer from 2017 to 2022, a period in which he diversified its product portfolio, reinforced its luxury positioning and advanced its digital and omnichannel presence.

Under his leadership, La Mer became the world’s number one luxury skin care brand. In his expanded remit, Boxford will build on the foundation established by Main while guiding La Mer’s strategy alongside the company’s other luxury beauty brands.

Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Officer, The Estée Lauder Companies, stated, “These appointments reflect the exceptional strength of our leadership bench and our deep commitment to developing world-class talent from within.”

Erica Kwok has been appointed Senior Vice President and General Manager of Estée Lauder, the company’s flagship brand spanning luxury skin care, makeup and fragrance and available in more than 150 countries.

Kwok has more than 20 years of beauty industry experience, including 15 years with the Estée Lauder brand, and most recently led Marketing, Product Development and Global Growth after moving from Asia/Pacific in 2021.

She played a key role in recent launches such as Double Wear and Glimmer and will work closely with Boxford as she takes the brand into its next phase.

Magalie Parksuwan will continue as Senior Vice President and General Manager of La Mer, reporting directly to Boxford, and will additionally oversee Darphin Paris and Lab Series while supporting Pierre-Olivier Garcin, who serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager for those two brands.

Parksuwan’s background spans global luxury brand building across skin care, fragrance and makeup, with deep consumer and channel expertise in key markets.

She is positioned to drive La Mer’s next growth stage while strengthening Darphin Paris and Lab Series globally.

Hudis added, “Together, they will build on the strong foundations of these businesses, drive continued growth and innovation, and position our brands for long-term success.”

“Justin, Erica and Magalie each bring distinctive expertise, proven leadership and a deep passion for our brands.”
