Brenntag teams up with PureTech to revolutionize glycolic acid in North America
USA – Brenntag, a German chemical distribution company, has partnered with USA-based PureTech Scientific LLC, to expand the distribution of ultra-high-purity glycolic acid across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
This agreement enables Brenntag to deliver innovative formulation solutions with Glypure cosmetic-grade glycolic acid to North American personal care customers.
PureTech Scientific utilizes a state-of-the-art manufacturing process to produce premium glycolic acid solutions, ensuring exceptional purity, consistency, and quality in a wide range of personal care products, including dermatological peels, toners, and hair styling solutions.
PureTech’s proprietary process achieves 100% atom economy and eliminates hazardous solvents, producing readily biodegradable glycolic acid with the lowest environmental impact.

Recently, Brentag collaborated with Parkim Fragrance House, a Turkish fragrance manufacturer, to offer customers high-quality, unique scent compositions in these markets.
Brenntag will market and promote Parkim’s innovative fragrance solutions across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Iceland, offering customers high-quality and distinctive scent compositions.
In addition, Brenntag will offer a curated selection of Parkim’s premium extracts, essential oils, and upcycled ingredients for the Beauty and care industry.
These include floral extracts like Rose Damascena, rich notes like Turkish coffee and tobacco absolute, and fresh citrus oils.
According to Parkim, sustainable ingredients derived from turpentine, citrus, and rose by-products will assist eco-friendly formulations and offer Nordic beauty and care brands high-quality, innovative, and authentic fragrance components.
