Schwan Cosmetics launches long-lasting eyeliner with customizable options

GERMANY – Schwan Cosmetics, a global private-label manufacturer of colour cosmetics, has unveiled AllNight, a 30-hour “blackest black” liquid eyeliner with customizable packaging. 

According to the company, the eyeliner delivers a matte finish for a “bold statement” lasting over 24 hours.

The AllNight eyeliner has various applicator designs and customizable packaging options to cater to diverse consumer preferences.

Customization options include a soft-touch silk screen finish, matte lacquer with holographic hot foil, metallization with glitter silkscreen for a shimmer effect, gradient lacquer, a 3D-printable design, and an injected marble effect with hot foil.

According to Schwan, achieving intense, long-lasting pigments in clean beauty formulations is challenging, requiring careful coordination of factors like pigment stability, surfactant selection, and polymer compatibility.

Marieke Waldmann, product manager of SBA Eye at Schwan, stated,  “Pigments tend to clump together, so surfactants must be carefully selected to keep them evenly dispersed.”

“At the same time, the film former, which ensures adhesion and durability, must work in perfect harmony with the pigment and surfactant system.”

Schwan Cosmetics conducted extensive testing under extreme temperature conditions to ensure AllNight’s formula remains stable and performs well in all climates.

The product’s formulation meets regulatory standards and is included in Sephora’s Clean List, ensuring that it is free from parabens, sulfates (SLS and SLES), phthalates, formaldehyde, and EDTA.

This move came after the company recently released the Cloud Touch Finish makeup collection in response to the “cloud skin” social media trend. 

The collection features six products for the eyes, lips, and face, including an Eye Soufflé liquid eye blush, Cheek Soufflé cheek blush, Lip Soufflé liquid lip blush, eye cushion liquid eye colour, blur stick liner for lips and lipstick blur crayon.

Schwan Cosmetics has integrated advanced beauty technologies into the collection, featuring 3D elastomer structures for flexibility, oil infusions, and gel-to-cream transformations.

Schwan Cosmetics reported that the production of Cloud Touch Finish makeup collection is responding to the trend of ensuring beauty brands have access to market-ready solutions that align with consumer demands.
