USA – Wonderskin, an American beauty brand known for its tech-infused cosmetics, has received has secured a USD 50 million minority investment in its Series A funding round, led by Insight Partners. 

This strategic investment marks a pivotal moment for the brand, enabling it to accelerate retail expansion and drive product innovation while maintaining its commitment to  beauty solutions.

The brand quickly gained recognition for its breakthrough products, including the Peel & Reveal Lip Colour Kit and WONDER BLADING Brow Kit, which offer smudge-proof, waterproof, and long-lasting wear.

Wonderskin’s formulations are vegan, cruelty-free, and packed with skin-loving ingredients, ensuring that beauty enthusiasts can enjoy bold, effortless looks without compromising on quality or sustainability.

The brand’s product lineup includes lip stains, brow kits, eyeliners, mascaras, and skincare essentials, all designed with advanced technology to enhance wearability and performance.

Beyond product innovation, Wonderskin collaborates with makeup artists to refine its formulations, ensuring professional-grade results that cater to both everyday users and industry experts.

Meanwhile, tech-infused beauty is transforming the cosmetics industry by integrating artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), smart devices, and biotechnology to enhance personalization, efficiency, and consumer experience.

According to a report by OSF Digital, the global beauty tech market is projected to reach USD 7.45 billion by 2029, growing at a 9.47% CAGR, driven by advancements in AI-powered skincare analysis, virtual try-ons, and smart beauty devices. 

In addition, the cosmetics e-commerce market is witnessing rapid expansion, with revenue expected to reach USD 47.02 billion in 2024 and projected to grow at an 8.57% annual rate, surpassing USD 70.94 billion by 2029.

This growth is fueled by social commerce, influencer marketing, and AI-driven shopping experiences.

Social media has transformed the beauty and cosmetics industry by driving consumer engagement, brand visibility, and purchasing decisions, with platforms like TikTok generating $2.5 billion in global beauty sales in 2023 alone, according to Statista.
