L’Oréal Groupe nominates Rehan Saeed as new CEO and Executive General Manager of L’Oréal Pakistan

Saeed brings over 21 years of experience in marketing, commercial strategy, and business development.

PAKISTAN – L’Oréal Groupe has appointed Rehan Saeed as the new CEO and Executive General Manager of L’Oréal Pakistan, effective May 2025.

Saeed will take over the role from Qawi Naseer, who has held that position since 2020.

His leadership is expected to drive innovation, elevate L’Oréal’s purpose-driven mission, and reinforce the company’s contributions to Pakistan’s socio-economic development.

Rehan Saeed brings over 21 years of experience in marketing, commercial strategy, and business development, having worked across Australia, Indonesia, and Pakistan.

In 2023, Rehan Saeed joined L’Oréal Indonesia as Business Development Director, later advancing to CPD Commercial Director, where he led high-performing teams, strengthened collaborative culture, and drove Project Infinity, a strategic initiative to enhance operational efficiency and market growth

Rehan Saeed stated, “It is a privilege to return to L’Oréal Pakistan and lead a dynamic, purpose-driven team at a pivotal time for the company.”

“I am deeply committed to advancing L’Oréal’s mission to create beauty that moves the world, while fostering a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and sustainable growth.”

Saeed’s appointment signals L’Oréal’s renewed focus on localized leadership with global expertise.

The appointment of Rehan Saeed comes after the company appointed Delphine Viguier-Hovasse as its first-ever Chief Innovation & Prospective Officer, a newly created executive-level position aimed at reinforcing the company’s leadership in beauty innovation and strategic foresight.

Effective July 1, 2025, she will join L’Oréal’s Executive Committee and report to Barbara Lavernos, Deputy CEO in charge of Research, Innovation & Technology, overseeing both the Innovation teams and the Strategic Prospective Department.

Viguier-Hovasse, who joined L’Oréal in 1997, previously served as Global Brand President of L’Oréal Paris, where she led groundbreaking product launches such as Elsève Glycolic Gloss and Panorama Mascara, while championing initiatives focused on female empowerment.

Her appointment reflects L’Oréal’s commitment to anticipating industry trends, accelerating product, technology, and sustainability advancements, and ensuring the company remains at the forefront of global beauty innovation.

Meanwhile,  L’Oréal recently won a legal case in India, with the Delhi High Court granting a permanent injunction against a fake website impersonating the international beauty giant.

The court’s decision prohibits the operators of “www.lorealglobal.in” from using L’Oréal’s name and trademarks or replicating its website design.

The court ordered ₹100,000 (approximately USD 1,166.62) in nominal damages to be paid to L’Oréal within eight weeks.
