Lancôme launches new website in honour of 90 years of beauty

FRANCE – Lancôme has heralded its 90th anniversary with the launch of a beautifully redesigned website, serving as a digital celebration of its illustrious legacy in beauty. 

The new website presents a refined, mobile-first experience that invites visitors to embark on a journey through nearly a century of innovation, elegance, and empowerment. 

Founded in 1935 by Armand Petitjean, Lancôme has long been synonymous with French luxury, blending scientific innovation with artistry and a profound belief in the connection between beauty and happiness.

The anniversary website is more than a store; it is a curated space showcasing the evolution of Lancôme’s iconic products in skincare, makeup, and fragrance, highlighting how the brand has shaped modern beauty standards and rituals. 

Visitors can explore the story behind timeless classics and cutting-edge innovations alike, including the brand’s pioneering work in microbiome skincare and sustainable luxury beauty. 

The site also incorporates interactive elements that celebrate Lancôme’s values—authenticity, generosity, transmission, and excellence—as well as its commitment to uplifting and inspiring women worldwide.

Complementing the website, Lancôme marked the milestone with experiential campaigns, such as the Rose Ice-Hotel pop-up at Incheon Airport in South Korea. 

This immersive installation brought the brand’s signature rose motif to life, showcasing archival treasures and bestsellers in an artful homage to Lancôme’s history.

 It also featured interactive skincare diagnostics and exclusive limited-edition products, blending culture, technology, and beauty in a unique tribute to their heritage.

This new digital platform reflects Lancôme’s ongoing commitment to blending tradition and modernity, engaging beauty enthusiasts through compelling storytelling and innovative experiences. 

It reaffirms the brand’s position as a leader in luxury cosmetics while honouring its roots as a house that believes beauty is inseparable from happiness and self-expression.

 Lancôme offers premium skincare, makeup, and fragrance products rooted in French luxury and innovation. 

Its skincare lines include Advanced Génifique and Absolue, known for their anti-ageing and radiance benefits. 

Makeup favourites feature Teint Idole foundation, Lash Idôle mascara, and L’Absolu Rouge lipsticks. 

Signature fragrances like La Vie Est Belle and Idôle round out its elegant portfolio.
