NIVEA unveils Derma Control range with Hyaluronic Acid

The launch aligns with the rising trends in sustainable and innovative personal care.

GLOBAL – NIVEA has debuted its innovative Derma Control range, revolutionizing underarm care by merging 72-hour sweat and odour protection with advanced skincare science.

This alcohol-free antiperspirant line addresses common challenges like friction, irritation, shaving, and waxing on delicate underarm skin, elevating deodorants to true skincare status.

Featuring skincare-grade actives such as Pure Hyaluronic Acid for deep hydration, Vitamin C for brighter and even-toned underarms, and Pro-Vitamin B5 for gentle defence against irritation, the products are available in roll-on (50ml) and spray (150ml) formats across retail and e-commerce platforms.

The range includes two key variants: Derma Control Even Tone, which smooths and brightens underarms with Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid, and Derma Control Defend, offering protective care via Pro-Vitamin B5 and Hyaluronic Acid, both delivering visible results alongside long-lasting protection.

In India, during the launch, Geetika Mehta, Managing Director of NIVEA India, underscored the initiative’s focus on treating underarms like the rest of the body, responding to consumer demands for multifunctional solutions after NIVEA’s five-year dominance in the category.

NIVEA offers a wide range of antiperspirant and deodorant products beyond the Derma Control line, including Dry Comfort, Double Effect, Invisible, Energy, Espresso, Fine Fragrance, Even Tone, Bio Aloe Vera, and specialized 72h protection sprays, roll-ons, and sticks.

The global Antiperspirant & Deodorant Market market is projected to reach USD 34.16 billion by 2026, according to Fortune Business Insights and MarketWatch reports.

These highlight growth driven by hygiene awareness, urbanization, and rising disposable incomes.

Meanwhile, Nivea recently upgraded its iconic Nourishing Cocoa body lotion range by incorporating moisture-boosting hyaluronic acid (Hyaluron) to deliver enhanced hydration for up to 48 hours.

This reformulation targets deep nourishment, making it ideal for dry skin across all shades, particularly relevant in regions like East Africa, where environmental factors challenge skin moisture.

The new formula combines traditional cocoa butter with pure hyaluronic acid and deep nourishing serum, providing intense moisture that leaves skin noticeably smoother, radiant, and healthy-looking.
