NYX Professional Makeup unveils Fat Oil Body Collection

This strategic pivot positions NYX to capture growth in the body care sector, extending its self-expression ethos from face to full body while capitalizing on franchise loyalty.

USA – NYX Professional Makeup has marked a pivotal strategic evolution by launching its first body care line after 27 years focused on facial cosmetics.

The Fat Oil Body collection expands the brand’s iconic Fat Oil franchise into full-body rituals, targeting Gen Z consumers amid rising demand for multi-sensory beauty experiences.

The Fat Oil Body collection introduces 12 products across four mood-based scents: Sugar Baddie (vanilla cookies and whipped cream), Caramelt Mami (caramel and pistachio), Coconut Cutie (coconut and peach), and Juicy Boo (clementine and mango).

Key offerings include glow-enhancing body oils (some with shimmer), hydrating body butters, hand and body lotions, hair and body mists, and a limited-edition Butt Sheet Mask for Coconut Cutie.

Infused with nourishing ingredients like avocado oil and vitamin E, the affordable lineup maintains NYX’s accessible pricing strategy while embracing trends in texture, fragrance, and shine.

This move signals NYX’s response to the booming global body care market and shifting Gen Z preferences for “full-body beauty” rituals, where lotions and scents serve as finishing touches beyond facial makeup.

By extending the viral Fat Oil lip oils, known for their shine and hydration, NYX leverages a proven franchise to enter the body aisle without diluting its artistry-focused identity.

Denee Pearson, Global Brand President, stated, “The Fat Oil Body collection allows us to deepen the brand’s storytelling among the Gen Z audience.”

“By extending one of our most beloved franchises, we have the opportunity to give our audience new ways to celebrate artistry with texture, fragrance, shine, and self-expression across the entire body.”

Founded in 1999 and acquired by L’Oréal, NYX Professional Makeup built its reputation on professional-grade, budget-friendly face makeup like matte lip creams and eyeliners.

This launch represents a deliberate portfolio expansion into body care and fragrance, aligning with broader industry trends toward holistic self-expression.

The collection launched online at nyxcosmetics.com immediately, with in-store availability at UK and US retailers starting May 1, 2026.

Colourful packaging and innovative formats like shimmer oils and sheet masks position it for viral appeal on social platforms.
