Nuon Medical’s new red light beauty packaging blurs line between container, treatment tool
Nuon Medical will present these new personal care packaging solutions at Luxe Pack Special Edition in Paris.
FRANCE – Nuon Medical has launched three technology-integrated personal care applicators, a scalp roller comb, body tube and facial contour roller, that use red light therapy, vibration, massage and cooling to transform ordinary tubes and combs into active treatment delivery systems.
The cosmetic solutions company will showcase the Nourish Scalp Roller Comb, Body Application Tube and Contour Roller Applicator at Luxe Pack Special Edition in Paris from 17 to 18 June 2026.
Unlike traditional packaging that merely stores and dispenses formulas, Nuon’s approach treats the container as a treatment engine that actively improves product performance.
Alain Dijkstra, CEO of Nuon Medical, said that beauty packaging was evolving beyond product protection to become more interactive and enhance product efficacy through innovative technologies.
He argued that Nuon’s tech-integrated packaging solutions with functions such as cooling, vibration and microcurrents were blurring the line between product and tool.
How a 5 ml Reservoir Combines with Red Light and Massage for Scalp Application
The Nourish Scalp Roller Comb features a 5 ml reservoir that dispenses formula across the scalp while providing red light therapy and a massage function to stimulate microcirculation and facilitate absorption of active ingredients.
The packaging solution is round in shape to provide a comfortable grip and ease of use.
The Body Application Tube is a large-format tube with red light and vibration, said to offer a smoothing effect and improve skin firmness.
It has a curved roller that can follow body contours for even application and provides a massage to activate circulation.
The Body Application Tube delivers formula through its screw-cap reservoir, which together with the massage provided by the roller helps active ingredients penetrate more deeply.
Why Four Metal Beads Deliver Cooling, Vibration and Skin Toning from a Single Package
The Contour Roller Applicator is designed to follow the contours and curves of the face using four metal beads that provide a cooling effect to tone the skin and stimulate microcirculation alongside a massage function.
The solution also provides red light with vibration for a skin toning effect and revitalization. It is activated through contact with the skin and recharged through placement in its base.
