Edgewell Personal Care unveils FY25 sustainability report
The report reinforces Sustainable Care as a company-wide operating framework.
USA – Edgewell Personal Care has released its fiscal 2025 Sustainability Report, outlining progress under its Sustainable Care strategy and organizing the update around three pillars: Brands, Operations and Supply Chain, and People and Communities.
The strategy remains the company’s roadmap for balancing business growth with environmental and social responsibility.
The FY25 report covers the main sustainability topics tied to those three pillars.
In its own framing, Sustainable Care supports operations, transformation, and long-term growth while aligning personal care with care for the planet and society.
Under the products and packaging area, Edgewell said it cut virgin petroleum-based plastic in disposable razor handles by 30.8% versus its FY19 baseline.
It also reported a 31.0% reduction in virgin petroleum-based plastic in packaging, with 83.2% of packaging designed for recycling or reuse. In addition, 91.1% of its fiber- and paper-based packaging used recycled and/or certified responsibly sourced fiber.
In operations and supply chain, Edgewell said it reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 40% versus FY19. The company also reported that 88% of manufacturing waste was diverted from landfill. It added that it continued to source 100% certified sustainable palm oil for use in its products.
On the workforce and community side, Edgewell said more than 207,000 recognition moments have been celebrated since its program launched in FY21.
It reported that 86% of teammates said they were satisfied with Edgewell as a place to work in its annual Global Experience Survey.
The company also said it achieved an injury rate of 0.51, which exceeded its target of below 1.0, and donated about USD 715,000 in charitable giving during FY25.
Edgewell was certified as a Great Place To Work across 13 regions in 2025, including Australia, France, Germany, Japan, the U.K., and others.
In addition, it was named one of America’s Most Responsible Companies for the seventh straight year and recognized among America’s Climate Leaders by USA Today. The company added that Forbes ranked it #1 in Connecticut in America’s Best in State Employers 2025.
