Sharon Personal Care renamed Eternis Personal Care

The change appears to take effect from July 1, 2026, with the company framing it as a strategic move to strengthen its customer focus, innovation capability, and long-term growth.

USA – Sharon Personal Care has officially rebranded as Eternis Personal Care, completing its integration following Eternis Fine Chemicals Ltd.’s acquisition of the business in November 2024.

The move unifies the company’s personal care operations under a single global brand, enhancing its ability to serve customers worldwide while building on the technical expertise, entrepreneurial drive, and market insight that have long distinguished Sharon Personal Care.

The company said the transition supports its purpose of “Enriching Lives with Care” by delivering innovative, dependable solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the personal care sector.

Wilfrid Gambade, CEO, Eternis, stated, “This transformation is the result of the commitment and collaboration of our people over the past two years.”

“Together, we have successfully integrated our teams, aligned our culture, and combined the strengths of both organizations while preserving the entrepreneurial mindset and customer proximity that have always distinguished Sharon Personal Care.”

Wilfrid, added, “Becoming Eternis Personal Care is the natural next chapter in our journey and opens new opportunities to further expand our global presence, including in Asia, while continuing to serve our customers with the same commitment and expertise.”

Looking ahead, Eternis Personal Care will operate as a dedicated business unit within Eternis Aroma Chemicals, focused on the personal care industry.

Together, the two businesses will draw on shared manufacturing strengths, global resources, and complementary technologies to support innovation and meet the evolving needs of customers worldwide.

Meanwhile, Sharon Personal Care recently launched Texture Selector, a new global solution designed to simplify formulation for personal care products.

This tool facilitates the selection of emulsifiers by focusing primarily on the desired sensory texture of the final product.

Unlike traditional approaches that begin with the emulsifier itself, this tool starts with the formulator’s choice of texture, narrowing down options from a broad range of 15 unique emulsifiers to a more manageable subset of 3-5 based on the selected sensorial profile.

The Texture Selector streamlines the formulation process by allowing developers to choose characteristics such as creaminess, lightness, or absorption speed, which then guides them to emulsifiers that match these attributes.
