Pricing starts at USD 12 for a three-bar set, positioning the line as an accessible entry point for parents seeking natural, kid-safe hygiene products.

USA – Men’s grooming brand Dr. Squatch has officially entered the children’s personal care market with the launch of Lil’ Squatch, its first-ever natural bar soap line designed specifically for kids.
The debut marks a strategic expansion for the Unilever-owned brand, which has previously engaged younger audiences through pop culture collaborations but is now testing sustained demand in the kids’ hygiene category.
Available exclusively through Dr. Squatch’s direct-to-consumer (DTC) channel, the new line features three fruity-scented, cold-processed bar soaps: Sea Apple Splash, Enchanted Grape, and Martian Melon.
According to the brand, each 2.3-ounce (65g) bar is dermatologist-tested, made with 98% natural-origin ingredients, and intentionally sized for easy gripping by small hands, aimed at helping children transition from pump body wash to solid bar soap.
The line is formulated for children aged 5 to 12 years (with some sources noting suitability from age 4 upward) and emphasizes gentle, clean ingredients free from sulfates, parabens, and phthalates.
Key components include saponified oils of certified palm, coconut, and olive; shea butter; natural clays; sea salt; and naturally derived fragrances.
The three variants offer distinct, kid-friendly aromatic experiences: Sea Apple Splash delivers a crisp blend of green and red apple with a hint of creamy vanilla, evoking a sweet apple treat by the sea; Enchanted Grape features juicy candied grape layered with sweet raspberry, reminiscent of magical fruity candy; and Martian Melon combines fresh watermelon accented with sparkling orange and creamy praline for an “out-of-this-world” fruit treat.
All bars are cold-processed, a traditional soap-making method that preserves the integrity of natural oils, and colored using natural additives like mica, red iron oxide, charcoal powder, and kaolin clay.
While Dr. Squatch has dipped into youth-oriented marketing through high-profile partnerships, such as collaborations tied to Toy Story 5 and SpongeBob SquarePants, Lil’ Squatch represents its first dedicated product line for children.
However, the brand is treating this launch as a limited-time trial, planning to keep the line on the market for approximately three to four months to gauge consumer response before considering a permanent rollout.
Acquired by Unilever in 2025, Dr. Squatch has rapidly grown from a niche men’s soap brand into a broader grooming powerhouse.
The Lil’ Squatch launch signals the company’s interest in diversifying its portfolio beyond adult male consumers and tapping into the expanding market for clean, sustainable personal care products for younger demographics, particularly Generation Alpha, who are increasingly influencing household purchasing decisions.
