Trade Kings launches HygieniX Lime Fresh soap

With this new Lime Fresh variant, Trade Kings is combining antibacterial protection with a more refined sensory experience.

ZAMBIA – Trade Kings Group, the largest FMCG manufacturer in Zambia, has expanded its HygieniX personal care lineup with the introduction of HygieniX Lime Fresh Soap.

The product was unveiled during the Zambia International Trade Fair (ZITF), which took place from July 1 to July 7, 2026, at the Trade Fair Grounds in Ndola, Zambia.

The launch marks another step in the company’s efforts to strengthen its hygiene portfolio and respond to evolving consumer preferences in the African market.

The company’s Group Manager for Public Relations, Bridget Kambobe, said Trade Kings remains committed to research, product development, and the well-being of communities.

She added that the HygieniX brand is positioned around scientifically backed germ protection, powered by an Active Silver formulation that is said to eliminate 99.99% of bacteria and pathogens.

The soap is designed to provide deep moisturization and support natural skin hydration, aligning with the changing preferences of African consumers, according to the company.

The new launch adds to Trade Kings Group’s HygieniX personal care portfolio, which includes Original, Herbal Care, Sensitive, Active Energy, Citrus Fresh, Icy Cool, Charcoal, and Even Tone.

The addition strengthens the company’s antibacterial soap range, which is positioned around germ protection, moisturization, and everyday hygiene.

In addition, Trade Kings has introduced the all-new Boom Bubble Plus 5kg Bucket, expanding its laundry care range with a larger, reusable pack designed for bigger washing needs.

The new format builds on the brand’s high-performance washing powder, which features advanced fragrance encapsulation technology and extra celluloses for stronger stain-fighting power and longer garment life.

Trade Kings Group has also unveiled an upgraded laundry innovation, Boom Perfume Burst+ 2-in-1, described as a first-of-its-kind offering in Zambia.

The dual-pack blends high-foaming Boom washing powder with real liquid perfume, aiming to combine effective stain removal with enhanced freshness in a single laundry solution.

The product is presented as a new way to wash, with Trade Kings highlighting a two-step action: the familiar Boom clean followed by a deep perfume infusion.

The result, according to the company, is cleaner, brighter clothes with a fragrance that lasts longer after washing.

The launches come at a time when Zambia’s home and personal care market is valued at about USD 270–300 million in 2026, expanding at a projected CAGR of 5–7% through 2030, with personal care categories like soaps, hair care, and oral care leading consumption while detergents and cleaners drive home care growth, according to a report by Statista.
