Customers in both markets will gain local access to the portfolio through Brenntag’s regional sales teams, technical experts and Innovation & Application Centers.

EUROPE – Brenntag, a global distributor of chemicals and ingredients, and Jingkun Chemistry Company have expanded their distribution partnership for Jingkun’s guar-gum derivatives used in beauty and personal-care formulations in France and Germany.
The agreement builds on the companies’ established cooperation in Europe and will focus on increasing customer engagement, technical marketing and formulation assistance for Jingkun’s guar-gum technologies.
Made from renewable guar gum, Jingkun’s thickening and conditioning polymers are designed for hair-care, skin-care and cleansing products.
The ingredients help formulators achieve conditioning performance, improved softness, and enhanced sensory properties while meeting demand for naturally derived, high-performance solutions.
The expanded cooperation will also strengthen Brenntag’s beauty and personal-care ingredient offering and improve access to guar-gum technologies across Europe.
By combining Jingkun’s expertise in functional guar derivatives with Brenntag’s customer network, technical capabilities and formulation support, the partners aim to assist customers throughout the product-development process and support the creation of next-generation personal-care products.
“Jingkun’s expertise in guar-gum derivatives complements the Brenntag Beauty & Care portfolio exceptionally well and enables us to offer customers more innovative, naturally derived conditioning solutions, supported by the local technical service they expect from Brenntag,” said Riham Alkhamisi, director of market management, Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care EMEA.
The companies aim to use the expanded cooperation to increase customer engagement, generate new formulation projects and support long-term business growth.
Chris Gu, manager of the international business division at Jingkun Chemistry Company, said France and Germany remain important markets for the company’s European growth.
He added that the strengthened partnership would combine Jingkun’s product innovation, consistent quality and supply capabilities with Brenntag’s broad customer network and local technical expertise.
Based in Kunshan, China, Jingkun Chemistry Company manufactures guar-gum derivatives for the global cosmetics and personal-care market.
