Galderma joins Swiss Market Index as blue-chip constituent

The company pursues its ambition to become the world’s leading dermatology powerhouse.

SWITZERLAND – Galderma, the pure-play dermatology leader, has begun trading as a constituent of the Swiss Market Index (SMI), Switzerland’s premier blue-chip equity benchmark that comprises the 20 largest and most liquid listed companies in the country.

Less than three years after its March 2024 IPO on the SIX Swiss Exchange, the company has cemented its status among Switzerland’s leading listed firms, with its SMI inclusion reflecting strong growth, disciplined execution, and rising prominence in both Swiss and international capital markets.

Since going public, Galderma has advanced its integrated, growth-focused dermatology strategy, delivering robust performance across its three pillars: Injectable Aesthetics, Dermatological Skincare, and Therapeutic Dermatology.

Net sales rose from USD 4.410 billion in 2024 to USD 5.207 billion in 2025, underpinned by science-led innovation, portfolio and geographic expansion, and momentum across all categories.

The upward trajectory has continued into 2026, with first-half net sales up 24.6% year-on-year at constant currency, prompting the company to lift its full-year 2026 net sales growth guidance to 19–21% (from 17–20%) while reaffirming Core EBITDA margin guidance of around 26% at constant currency amid significant margin expansion.

Galderma now benefits from a broad shareholder base, with L’Oréal Group holding a 20% stake and 80% of shares in free float, further strengthening its position in public markets.

Commenting on the milestone, CEO Flemming Ørnskov, M.D., MPH, said, “Joining the Swiss Market Index marks another milestone in Galderma’s evolution as a public company and reflects the strong momentum we have built since our IPO.”

Our inclusion in the SMI is recognition of the confidence investors have in our strategy and future growth prospects.”

Galderma is the pure-play dermatology category leader, active in approximately 90 countries, offering an innovative, science-based portfolio of premium flagship brands and services across Injectable Aesthetics, Dermatological Skincare, and Therapeutic Dermatology.

Since its founding in 1981, the company has dedicated itself to the skin, meeting individual consumer and patient needs with superior outcomes in partnership with healthcare professionals, advancing dermatology for every skin story.
