P2 positions the launch within a wider industry shift toward greener emollients and biodegradable ingredients.

USA – Green chemistry company P2 Science, known for sourcing its ingredients from circular feedstocks, has introduced Feel Good Colour, a sustainable colour cosmetics collection built around its CitroSperse bio-based pigment dispersions.
The launch is supported by a downloadable e-book that matches three of 2026’s most influential complexion trends with formulations based on the company’s CitroSperse system.
CitroSperse uses polycitronellol as a sustainable, silicone-free emollient alternative.
According to P2 Science, the dispersions are designed to be high-quality, easy to formulate with and consistent shade after shade, while also standing out through the company’s green chemistry platform as a 100% natural-origin dispersant.
Expanding P2 Science’s broader Feel Good platform, Feel Good Colour is aimed at meeting consumer demand for “realness, sensory and sustainability,” the company said.
The e-book, available on P2 Science’s website, pulls together the latest beauty trend direction and formula concepts, while also reflecting the growing popularity of silicone-free claims and “skin-first, hybrid colours” that combine makeup performance with skin-friendly benefits.
The collection is built around three complexion finishes and ready-to-formulate prototypes. Suede Skin is described as a velvety middle ground between glow and matte, and appears in a Liquid Silk Silicone-free Foundation and a Soft Velvet Foundation Stick; Cloud Skin is a soft, diffused, filter-like complexion shown in a Tinted Moisturizing Mousse; and Solar Flush is a warm, sun-kissed flush without UV exposure, featured in a multi-use Colour Stick in the shade Desert Orchid.
The three prototypes, foundation, stick and mousse, are paired with a 45-shade formulation guide intended to help formulators build a broad skin-tone range and custom-blend shades using CitroSperse iron oxide and titanium dioxide dispersions.
According toP2 Science, the naturally derived, silicone-free Citropol carrier allows for high pigment loading, bold buildable colour, faster payoff with less product, and a more appealing sensory profile.
It says demand for these circular alternatives is rising as EU restrictions on D4, D5 and D6 silicones expand to leave-on products from June next year, while other companies such as Celtic Renewables and Seppic are also advancing sustainable emollient options that aim to replicate the feel and performance of silicones.
