The event connects global R&D leaders, brand executives, and academics across Asia and Southeast Asia to accelerate scientific discovery and industrial application.

CHINA – The Personal Care Technology (PCT) 2026 series has evolved into a year-round, multi-city platform that links key Chinese innovation centres.
This includes Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Xiamen, and Jinan, with Vietnam and Indonesia, establishing a unified cross-border structure to promote scientific dialogue, industrial partnerships, and market collaboration in the personal care industry.
This strategic expansion moves beyond traditional conferences to create a comprehensive regional technology network, integrating the entire value chain from basic research and formula creation to compliance strategies, production scaling, and market entry.
By fostering these connections, PCT 2026 enables seamless collaboration among Asian powerhouses, accelerating innovation in areas such as skin biology, AI-enhanced beauty tech, medical aesthetics, oral care microbiomes, eco-friendly materials, and smart manufacturing processes.
PCT 2026’s main annual gatherings occur in two cities: the Shanghai edition on July 15-16 at Kerry Hotel Pudong, emphasizing scientific progress and worldwide tech trends alongside the 2026 Ringier Technology Innovation Awards.
Meanwhile, the Guangzhou event on November 18-19 at Baiyun International Convention Centre, targeting industrial uses and manufacturing upgrades, with the 3rd Ringier Formulation Master Awards.
This two-city approach strategically matches research strengths with practical implementation, drawing over 3,000 delegates, more than 120 speakers, and 160 exhibitors across a 6,000-square-meter zone for forums, displays, matchmaking, and product showcases.
The events highlight transformative topics under the banner “Technology Shapes the Future of Beauty,” including AI, synthetic biology, precision skincare, and sustainable solutions.
Complementing the core events, PCT 2026 introduces forums in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (May 19-20), and Jakarta, Indonesia (December 1-2), themed “Green Beauty, Sustainable Future,” to address eco-conscious raw materials, reduced-carbon production, and transnational teamwork.
These sessions extend the platform’s reach, supporting 12 summits overall that span oral care trends, packaging advances, and digital shifts while honouring excellence via awards for tech breakthroughs and formulations.
Organized by Ringier Trade Media and happi China, the initiative positions PCT as Asia’s premier hub for personal care advancement, blending global insights with local market demands.
The Personal Care Technology (PCT) platform offers a year‑round, multi‑city innovation ecosystem for the beauty and personal care industry, featuring forums, exhibitions, and collaborations on cutting‑edge topics such as AI‑driven formulation, synthetic biology, sustainable packaging, skin longevity, and regulatory compliance.
