Univar Solutions, Dow expands North American homecare distribution
The collaboration is intended to empower customers with innovative, multi-functional solutions that meet needs for growth, speed, and sustainability.
USA – Univar Solutions USA LLC, through its Ingredients + Specialties (I+S) division, has expanded its distribution agreement with Dow (NYSE: DOW) to supply advanced homecare and industrial cleaning specialty ingredients across the United States and Canada.
The deal broadens formulators’ access to Dow’s SupraCare™ portfolio of polymers and specialty additives, offering multi-functional ingredients intended to boost cleaning performance, increase formulation flexibility, and align with evolving market demands.

Designed for applications including dishwashing and laundry care, Dow’s SupraCare™ polymers and advanced additives deliver benefits such as enhanced foaming, improved hard-surface cleaning, better sensory feel, and optimized softening.
The materials also improve formulation compatibility, enabling more efficient liquid and powder detergent systems.
Backed by Univar Solutions’ specialty ingredients technical team, customers will gain access to market insights, technical expertise, and application-driven formulation support.
Through its global Solution Center network—including a flagship homecare and industrial cleaning laboratory in Houston, Texas—the company works closely with customers to accelerate product development and bring advanced cleaning technologies to market.
Combined with Dow’s position as a global leader in materials science and sustainable, high-performance chemistries, the expanded distribution agreement is expected to help customers commercialize advanced cleaning solutions more quickly.
The announcement comes shortly after Dow and Univar Solutions recently entered a long-term agreement to expand access to Dow’s Decarbia line of low-carbon speciality chemicals used in cosmetic applications.
The partnership will leverage Univar Solutions’ global distribution network to provide personal care manufacturers with broader access to ingredients backed by Product Carbon Footprint certificates, as brands face growing pressure to cut emissions across their supply chains.
