Amouage expands the Esences collection with new perfume range 

UAE – Amouage, the prestigious Omani high perfumery house, has unveiled three captivating new fragrances to its celebrated Essences Collection, heralding Act II of this innovative line. 

The collection includes Line 618, Remain, and Sequence.

Conceived under the vision of Chief Creative Officer Renaud Salmon, this trilogy draws inspiration from the geometry of time, symbolizing a line for infinite progression, a dot for a singular moment, and a circle for cyclical renewal, thereby exploring time as an elemental force in human existence. 

The Essences Collection distinguishes itself through a meticulous double-infusion process, in which perfume concentrates are aged for six months in Australian sandalwood chips and further matured in French oak barrels, yielding exceptionally rich scents with 30% pure perfume oils that honour Omani heritage while embracing contemporary artistry.

Line 618, crafted by master perfumer Nathalie Lorson, embodies boundless forward momentum with its vibrant opening of spices and fruits that gracefully evolve into warm woods, leather, and patchouli, guided by the mathematical elegance of the Golden Ratio. 

Remain, composed by Pierre Negrin, distils the essence of an intense, fleeting instant through crisp green aromatics, carrot, bergamot, and vanilla, which deepen into sacred frankincense, sandalwood, and the animalic allure of castoreum. 

Sequence, by Julien Rasquinet, captures eternal cycles with luminous fruits and florals mingling with spices before plunging into profound, leathery, woody oud accords. 

Housed in bespoke Essences flacons etched with vertical ridges evoking Omani desert dunes and the brand’s iconic twelve-pointed emblem, each perfume arrives with a handcrafted medal detailing its narrative and an hourglass-motif box, complemented by striking brutalist campaign visuals from photographer Louise Mertens.

In 2024, Amouage introduced Act I of its Essences Collection, a trilogy of fragrances built around the theme of time and its dimensions. 

The launch featured Reasons, a scent inspired by reflection and the past; Lustre, which embodies the radiance of the present moment; and Outlands, designed to evoke the spirit of the future through exploration and expansion. 

Amouage offers a wide range of luxury fragrances, including its Signature Collection with classics like Reflection, Gold, and Epic and the Library Collection (Opus Series), alongside high-concentration Extraits de Parfum. 

In addition, the company also offers complementary products include perfume oils, sampler sets, and gift editions, all designed to blend Omani heritage with avant-garde craftsmanship.
