UAE – Primark has expanded its Middle East strategy by opening its third Dubai store at Mall of the Emirates, reinforcing its push to capture regional growth through large‑format, value‑focused fashion destinations.
The new store spans more than 36,000 square feet of retail space dedicated to Primark’s affordable clothing, accessories, and homeware.
It is positioned on the ground floor at Entrance A, following the same high‑traffic, mall‑anchor model that underpinned the successful launches at Dubai Mall and City Centre Mirdif.
The opening marks Primark’s third Dubai location in less than two months, underscoring an accelerated rollout across the emirate as part of a broader Middle East expansion plan.
Jose Luis Martinez De Larramendi, Director of International Expansion at Primark, stated, “As we celebrate the opening of Primark at Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, I’d like to recognise and acknowledge our strong partnership with Alshaya Group on our third store in the UAE and fourth overall in the Middle East in less than a year.”
“The excitement and response from shoppers to Primark opening its doors in the region has been amazing so far, and we can’t wait to open in Bahrain and Qatar later this year.”
Beyond the UAE, Primark has agreed with Alshaya Group to open five new stores in 2026 across the UAE, Bahrain (City Centre Bahrain), and Qatar (Doha Festival City), widening its footprint from 20 to 21 countries by the end of the year.
The move deepens the retailer’s toehold in the UAE just months after its debut in Kuwait and the launch of its first two outlets in Dubai, at Dubai Mall and City Centre Mirdif.
In March 2026, Primark officially launched its first UAE store at The Dubai Mall, marking the brand’s regional debut in the country after its earlier entry into Kuwait.
The large‑format Dubai‑Mall outlet, around 7,000 square meters, attracted huge queues and positioned Primark as a key new value‑fashion anchor in one of the world’s busiest malls.
In April 2026, Primark opened its second Dubai store at City Centre Mirdif, reinforcing its rapid entry into the UAE market just weeks after its debut at Dubai Mall.
The store spans over 35,000 square feet on one level, offering Primark’s full range of affordable fashion, beauty, and homeware, and is operated in partnership with Alshaya Group for the Middle East rollout.
