NIGERIA – L’Oréal Professionnel Paris has introduced its groundbreaking Absolut Repair Molecular Bi-Phase Oil to the Nigerian market, strengthening its dominance in professional hair repair solutions.

This launch highlights the brand’s commitment to delivering scientifically advanced products tailored for Nigerian consumers experiencing hair damage from various treatments.

The unveiling occurred at “The Repair Event,” an engaging experiential gathering that drew hair professionals, salon owners, beauty influencers such as Erica Nlewedim and Inedoye Anikulapo-Kuti, and hair enthusiasts.

Participants immersed themselves in interactive areas like a Pro Bar offering fragrance sampling, informational walls detailing the science of molecular repair, and salon-style diagnostics where stylists provided customized hair consultations.

Karim Aoun, L’Oréal Professional Products Division Commercial Director for Sub-Saharan Africa, stated, “Innovation at L’Oréal Professionnel Paris is always backed by science and validated by professionals.”

“The Absolut Repair Molecular Bi-Phase Oil represents a new frontier in addressing hair damage, moving beyond surface treatment to molecular repair.”

Karim added, “This launch strengthens our commitment to equipping Nigerian hair professionals and everyday users with advanced solutions that deliver visible, measurable results.”

Damaged hair suffers from a disrupted peptide structure, which is typically too large to re-enter the fibre, rendering repairs challenging.

The Absolut Repair Molecular line introduces a patented solution that restores two years’ worth of damage through visible molecular reconstruction.

This bi-phase oil combines a water-based phase enriched with peptides and amino acids to rebuild hair strength from within, alongside an oil-based phase that smooths split ends, tames frizz, and delivers shine without weighing hair down.

It complements the Absolut Repair 10-in-1 Oil for external nourishment, creating a comprehensive “Dual Power of Repair” approach that works instantly on natural, relaxed, or chemically processed hair.

The product is now accessible in 30ml and 90ml sizes, ideal for all hair types, including colour-treated, lightened, or natural strands.

For proper application, L’Oréal advises its Users to shake the bottle for three seconds to blend phases, then apply one to two pumps on damp or dry hair, steering clear of roots and scalp for optimal results.

L’Oréal Professionnel Paris in Nigeria offers other salon-grade ranges, including Vitamino Colour for colour protection and Curl Expression for textured hair.

Styling essentials such as the Steampod Replenishing Cream and Silver Shampoo for blonde/grey tones are also available.

These products are sold through partners like Beauty Hut Africa in Lagos and online platforms such as Jumia Nigeria.
