Coty is tightening control at the top while simplifying how its prestige and people functions are run.

USA – Coty Inc. has reshaped its leadership and operating model to speed up its Coty.Curated strategy by moving commercial decision-making closer to the business and markets.
The changes include giving interim CEO Markus Strobel direct control over Prestige’s commercial operations, consolidating Prestige’s R&D, sustainability, and supply chain under a single function, and announcing several leadership transitions.
Strobel will now directly oversee Prestige commercial operations, with Coty’s regional leaders reporting to him, so decisions can be made faster and accountability for sell-out and market share can be clearer.
Coty also said it will combine Prestige R&D, sustainability, and supply chain into a single simplified function led on an interim basis by Chief Supply Chain Officer Graeme Carter.
Consumer Beauty, meanwhile, will continue under the already integrated model led by President Gordon von Bretten.
Caroline Andreotti, Coty’s Chief Commercial Officer for Prestige, will leave at the end of September after three years in the role and nearly two decades with the company. Dr. Shimei Fan, Coty’s Chief Scientific and Sustainability Officer, will leave at the end of August after leading the company’s R&D and sustainability work.
Priya Srinivasan, Chief People and Purpose Officer, is also stepping down for personal reasons and will leave in August.
Meanwhile, Séverine Charbon will join as Chief People and Purpose Officer effective September 1.
The company said she brings more than 25 years of international experience in talent strategy and organizational transformation, most recently as Chief Talent Officer International at Publicis Groupe.
Coty framed the changes as part of a simpler operating model designed to bring clarity and focus to the business. Strobel said the goal is to keep building behind core brands while supporting teams more effectively as the business moves forward.
In addition, the structure is intended to strengthen the delivery of innovation, the execution of sustainability, and overall commercial responsiveness.
This move comes shortly after Coty recently overhauled its Board of Directors, appointing five new independent directors as part of a comprehensive board refresh designed to strengthen governance and support the company’s strategic evolution in the global beauty market.
The company has expanded its Board to 10 members, adding Carsten Fischer, Alia Gogi, Robert Kunze‑Concewitz, Maria Carla Liuni, and Stephanie Plaines, all of whom bring extensive experience in beauty, luxury, branding, and financial leadership.
