This performance was notably driven by strong demand in its Derma segment.

GERMANY – Beiersdorf has achieved a robust 2.0% organic sales growth for the first nine months of 2025, pushing group sales to €7.5 billion (USD 8.72 billion) despite a challenging market environment.
The Consumer Business segment contributed €6.3 billion (USD 7.33 billion) in sales, also reflecting a 2.0% organic increase.
This growth was primarily driven by the Derma segment, which surged 12.3%, and the Health Care segment, which grew 8.8%, fueled by innovations like the Second Skin Protection plaster.
The flagship NIVEA brand posted a modest 0.6% sales increase supported by new Epicelline® innovations, while the luxury brand La Prairie saw a 7.2% decline but returned to growth in Q3.
The Tesa division recorded €1.3 billion(USD 1.51 billion) in sales with a 2.0% organic growth, driven mainly by its Electronics business in the Asia-Pacific region.
Vincent Warnery, CEO of Beiersdorf, said: “We are pleased to see the outstanding performance of our derma business. It proves that we can continue to outperform the competition and deliver double-digit growth.”
“We saw a further deceleration of the skin care market in the third quarter of 2025 especially in emerging markets, which is why we now expect an organic sales growth for our Consumer business of around 2.5% for the full year.”
Quarterly details show Q3 2025 sales at €2.35 billion(USD 2.73 billion), up 1.7% year-on-year, with Consumer Business organic growth at 2.1%.
The Derma segment continued its strong momentum, with 12.4% growth in Q3, while the Health Care segment grew 9.8%.
E-commerce remains a significant growth driver, with 19.2% growth in Q3 alone and 166% over the first nine months.
Despite setbacks in emerging markets impacting NIVEA sales, which reflect a slight organic decline in Q3, the brand showed promising early gains following the September launch of the NIVEA Cellular Epigenetics Serum.
La Prairie’s performance improved with a 1.6% organic growth in Q3, especially in China.
Beiersdorf has adjusted its full-year 2025 forecast, now anticipating around 2.5% organic growth amid a slowing market in the third quarter.
The company expects an operating EBIT margin slightly above the previous year’s 13.9%, with the Consumer Business Segment’s EBIT margin projected to improve by 20 basis points over 2024.
Despite market uncertainties, Beiersdorf’s resilient brand portfolio, strategic market realignment, and ongoing innovation provide a robust foundation for sustained growth throughout the year.
