Nicci Boutiques set to launch first-ever fragrance

The fragrance aims to capture the duality of a woman who is tender yet powerful, graceful yet grounded.

SOUTH AFRICA – Nicci Boutiques, a South African fashion retailer, is set to launch its first-ever fragrance, Nicci Signature, at the end of November 2025.

This debut fragrance marks a significant expansion of the brand from fashion into fragrance, envisioned as the “invisible accessory” that completes every look and expresses the essence of the Nicci lifestyle: confidence, individuality, and strength.

The creation of Nicci Signature was a thoughtful journey that involved extensive collaboration with fragrance houses, including work at Parfex in France.

According to the company, this perfume itself is crafted to embody modern femininity, balancing softness and strength through distinct scent notes: cherry blossom and violet for a delicate yet engaging opening; rose, jasmine, and tuberose for sensual elegance; solar notes for warmth; clove to add mystery; and vetiver providing a smoky, grounding base.

Nicci Signature is more than just a perfume; it is intended as a bold statement and an extension of the brand’s legacy, reinforcing the empowerment and confidence that Nicci’s fashion pieces inspire.

According to Nicci co-founder Niki Breger, the scent encapsulates the spirit of the women who wear Nicci, making it not just something to wear, but something to become, resonating deeply with the brand’s community of confident, modern women.

This launch represents an evolution for Nicci Boutiques, articulating their identity through scent as much as fabric.

The launch comes at a time when South African consumers are increasingly drawn to affordable, locally inspired fragrances that reflect personal identity and cultural pride.

According to a report published by Statista, South Africa’s fragrance market is projected to generate approximately USD 641 million in 2025, with a compound annual growth rate of 2.23% through 2030.

Nicci Boutiques offers a curated range of women’s fashion, including clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories that blend global trends with timeless elegance.

Their collections feature both internationally sourced pieces and locally designed labels like Nicci and Cocoon, celebrating South African creativity and style.
