AV Laboratories launches skincare solutions for GLP-1 medication users
The launch follows broader market interest in anti-laxity solutions: other firms have released or promoted actives and formulations aimed at restoring dermal support and delivering procedure-like results at home to counter rapid, drug-linked skin laxity.
USA – AV Laboratories has introduced a 360° topical molecular-nourishment system designed to address cosmetic concerns arising from the rising use of GLP‑1 medications.
The science-driven skincare company says the range helps skin adjust to rapid, medically induced weight loss and its visible effects.
The firm argues that the beauty industry and skincare in particular must respond to the metabolic and aesthetic shifts of the GLP‑1 era to preserve skin health and appearance during weight-loss transitions.
“Rapid physical change can place new demands on the skin’s appearance, and new demands require a more intelligent skin care approach,” says Sylwia Pawlaczyk, AV Laboratories’ COO and master formulator.
She adds that AVL SOM3 was created to support the skin’s renewal environment using molecular building blocks linked to healthier-looking skin over time.
The patented AVL SOM3 technology, which the company says promotes “hydrated, resilient, younger-looking skin.”
SOM3 is formulated from 20 amino acids to nourish the skin at a molecular level and support the natural production of collagen, elastin, and NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide).
The brand traces its expertise to IVF solutions and stem-cell research; CEO and co-founder Ami Mezezi notes that their IVF work highlighted the importance of cellular health and precision.
AV Laboratories positions its offering as a molecular-care response to GLP‑1–related skin changes.

Finished formulations combine AVL SOM3 with clinical-grade actives to address core concerns: structural support, elasticity, hydration, barrier resilience, and signs of cellular energy.

AV Laboratories unveiled the 360° approach at the Aesthetic & Anti‑Aging Medicine World Congress 2026 in Monaco, joining wider industry conversations about GLP‑1 drugs and emergent issues such as facial fat loss and “Ozempic face.”
The company highlights its regenerative-medicine and cellular-science background as a competitive edge and warns that metabolic shifts, adipose dynamics, fibroblast signaling, collagen turnover, hormonal balance, cellular energy, and nutrient availability all influence skin quality.
It also notes that appetite suppression associated with GLP‑1 use can reduce protein intake, which may undermine collagen and elastin maintenance, thereby worsening hydration, texture, and firmness.
