Bath & Body Works partners with Ulta Beauty to expand nationwide retail footprint

The partnership is framed as a strategic omnichannel expansion rather than a simple retail listing, because it combines in-store visibility with digital availability.

USA – Bath & Body Works is expanding its reach through a new nationwide partnership with Ulta Beauty, giving Ulta shoppers access to a curated Bath & Body Works assortment in more than 600 stores and on Ulta.com starting July 12, 2026.

The move is designed to broaden brand discovery, deepen consumer access, and support Bath & Body Works’ Consumer First Formula strategy, while also aligning with Ulta Beauty’s plan to broaden its fragrance and self-care offerings.

The rollout will place Bath & Body Works products inside Ulta Beauty’s physical stores and online channel, extending the brand beyond its own store network.

Lauren Brindley, chief merchandising and digital officer, Ulta Beauty, stated, “We see a meaningful whitespace opportunity to better serve guests across high-quality home fragrance, hand soaps, lotions and body care, categories that beautifully complement our assortment and meet guests across all ages, stages and price points.”

“This launch expands our assortment into incremental categories our guests are excited to discover and reinforces Ulta Beauty as a destination for accessible, elevated beauty and self-care experiences.”

This gives the brand a new way to meet shoppers where beauty and fragrance purchases already happen.

The assortment will feature items across home fragrance and body care, including fine-fragrance mists, body creams, hand soaps, three-wick candles, and plug-in fresheners. Reports also note that a mini fragrance mist set is part of the offering.

Bath & Body Works is also bringing back Juniper Breeze, the Mini Fine Fragrance Mist Set, and the White Barn Neutrals candle collection for a limited time as an Ulta-exclusive promotion.

The company’s Consumer First Formula is centered on improving access and relevance with shoppers, and Ulta gives it a large beauty-focused customer base to tap into.

For Ulta, the deal adds a well-known fragrance and self-care brand that can broaden its category mix and help drive traffic.

The announcement was well received in market coverage, with reports linking the partnership to a boost in investor sentiment toward Bath & Body Works.

That reaction suggests the deal is viewed as more than a distribution update; it is a potentially meaningful growth lever.

The collaboration also reinforces that major retailers are increasingly using partnerships to expand their assortments without building entirely new stores.
